Lot 201 is a travesty for the person was repossessed. They padi in the £220s for it if I recall. I had my eye on it in the February auction. It bid to £185,000 with a too high reserve of £200,000. It was in another auction before that one even, but I can't locate it.
Yesterday still unsold - bid to £150,000 with a reserve of £155,000. Looks ugly but it's part of the Dulwich College Estate - just an architectural mistake
The two beds were selling for about £115,000 back in 2001! This is a three. Some problems with short leases on some flats.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

sold for 1.25 million
Thanks!
Someone is going to make some money.
Borehamwood. Pub got shut down and builders moved in, cleared the site and got PP for 14 1 &2 bed apartments. The site is small but there are green areas nearby, shoppping centre (up and coming with a new Costs, M&S & Next replacing Focus DIY etc). Judging by the achieved prices of apartments nearby, they could easily go for 200k +.
The downside is that there is are council houses on the nearby roads, but most are bought out and very decent. There is one tower block nearby that has recently been refurb'd.
200 x 14= 2.8m less 1.25m plus say 800k to build max. Could be 750k profit in there.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I thought banks were asking for very large deposits for new build flats. So might not achieve £200k"Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.
Mrs. Pench took the money. "What will you do with it all? Not that it's any of my business," he giggled.

also as prices decline and more horror stories about new builds come out (as they inevitably will), public sentiment will turn very much against them,
people are going to look more carefully at what else they could get for their 200k, and in most cases it turns out rather more housing than a new build 'luxury apartment'It's a health benefit ...0 -

The flats would probably be on the market at £250k each and would probably achieve that.
there are similar new builds on at £300k + in v nearby surrounding area. Just sold nearby and made £60k in a year when everything apparently is going belly up.
If i had available funds I would have bought it. Even if they sell at £180k. THats £500k. Nearby hell holes can sell for upwards of £160k with no leases.
No brainer and the person who bought will make a packet even if the market nose dives. People still want to buy. Good luck to them i say.0
