  • I have a problem with the dashboard on my Ford Focus 1.8 TDCI 2002.
When the engine is not running arrows showing fuel and engine temperature in an upright position in the middle, instead of being in the zero position. When I start the engine operate normally.
    What could be the problem?

It could be a similar issue see of you can find anything on google , as with mine it could just be a dry solder joint , this seems to be a major problem with modern cars due to using lead free solder , just did a similar fix on a mates Audi high level brake light £110 for a replacement so we thought nothing to loose ran over the circuit board with the soldering iron and it came back to life !
