Ford Focus Dashboard Problem

hi, i have a 2003 diesel focus. my problems started this morning. the internal light inside my car wont switch off (as of last night), and i attributed the problems to an almost flat battery.
is this £99 offer still running, and if so, what do i need to say, or ask, when i go to my local ford dealership?
ps. does anyone know why the light in the inside of my car wont switch off?
im guessing by internal light you mean the interior light on the roof? why do you think the dashboard being faulty would cause the interior light to stay on?...work permit granted!0 -
Because it does.
It also causes beeps, the wipers not to work, indicators to time erratically, the reversing light not to work, the front and rear window heat elements to not work, and the dials to not work, the lights on the dash to go bonkers, and about 10 other random "how the hell can that be dash related?" issues.
Yes, the £99 greenback (iirc) scheme is still running. Phone Ford customer service and book it in.Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j

Having done my research and discovering the Watchdog report, I wrote to Ford customer services asking about the £99 deal. As the car was over 6 years old, I wasn't expecting a great response. They phoned me back and stated that Ford were not offering this deal anymore but it was up to the local Ford franchise as to whether they would offer it.
I'm pleased to report that my local dealer agreed to the £99 price without a quibble. I should probably add that I bought the car from them in 2006 so this probably helped although they had never serviced the car as I chose to use my local garage for MOT's and services.0 -
Anyone got any tips on having the same problem twice within 15 months of each other. Dealership offered the fix @ £99 1st time. Second time they've charged the same and is "outside 12 month warranty period" for new parts. About to write letter to customer relations. Wondered if anyone's got any advice? Thanks.0

Hi, my 03 Focus has developed this problem and I've been doing my research too, but couldn't get hold of the watchdog report. Do you have a link to it? Would like to be sure of my facts before I chase Ford customer services.
Has anyone had long term success with solving this problem using the cheap and cheerful repair routes discussed? If Ford not prepared to cut a deal for me I'm not sure what I'm going to do.0 -
Hi All,
Sorry if I repeating information, My car 56 ford focus having problem (Engine cut out with all dash board light on), Cluster Dash board instrument that I need to replace according local Ford dealer (Jennings), and its going to cost me about £600+ which include diagnostic cost.
