I would show you my meal planner from Excel, but not sure how I'd put a screen dump on here? It's all based on what I have in the freezer to use up, then what I would like to eat on any certin day - it always gets moved around day to day week to week, but at least I've got an idea of what I've already got in and what I need to get.

    that sounds reallly good.

Have you tried tescos healthy balance weetabix? My ds is pretty fussy with cerial but at over a pound less that the branded for a big box i thought it worth a try. He didnt like the value stuff but couldnt tell the difference with the healthy balance one. I only bought a small box for him to try thinking if he didnt like it I would have a reason to make the weetabix muffins i saw on another thread. Luckily for my waistline he liked them!! :T :T :T

To post a screen dump on here you need press Ctrl (control) C and PrtSc (Print Screen) while in excel with the document open, Then open Paint (or similar program) and press ctrl and v to paste. Save this file.

You need to upload this picture on to a website like www.flickr.com or www.photobucket.com

Once you've uploaded the pic you can just right click on it, select 'properties' and then highlight and copy the address/URL (there are different methods of getting the URL but they vary depending on the site that you use)

Then come on here and when you post a message you will see what looks like a picture of mountains (I think that's what it's supposed to be  ) If you hover over it with your mouse it says 'insert image' click on this button and paste in the URL of the pic that you copied. Press preview post to check that it's worked.

    Hope this makes sense :)

Thanks - will try that. I don't have paint at work which is what I thought I would need earlier. Will try it now.

Thanks Nikki, hopefully skint catt will come back on later and show us the spreadsheet!

So guys, this is my menu plan for the week:

Thurs - chicken and mushroom supreme and rice, green beans / sweetcorn
    friday - chilli and rice
saturday - sausage and mash, mixed veg (Oh will love this!)
sunday - meal out for uncle's birthday
monday - tuna pasta bake (thanks purpleprincess :D )
tuesday - creamy turkey curry and rice.

I might now have a go at planning for the rest of the month :T

Thank you for all your help everyone - its very much appreciated.

Ignore the red and green on the left - thats my Slimming World days ;). This way I've planned until the end of May!!

On the left is my calendar - where we're going to be, if we're going out (so I can plan a quick meal or not plan at all)!

Hope this helps someone - it's so easy to cut and paste and move things around - that's why I like it!

hi skint catt - that looks great, thank you. i'm going to have a go at doing my own one. I'm also going to inclue a column for 'activity' as i'm trying to lose weight before the wedding. :T

I'm seeing a personal trainer at the moment (an extravagance i know, but cheaper than paying 25% extra for the next size up of wedding dress, and OH has v kindly paid half :o ) so he keeps me on the straight and narrow. He's given me a home workout today  My legs were shaky when i got home after going through it with him! :rotfl:

    speak soon,
