I honestly cannot see that the FSA and FOS etc have got the time to do that. They are swamped with claims and just because there is a lot of news about it it is also big money for FOS etc so they also have an interest in keeping it in the news.0 -
I can't wait for this register thing whereby we can see which firms have complaints against them. I think its about time they named and shamed them.
I am a little annoyed at the FOS at the moment and want to know why they are taking so long with complaints. Surely they can draft in more staff for this. If they have more work then they have more complaints and each complaint pays money and if they have more money then they should be able to employ more staff. My opinion anyway.0 -

Yes hun they defo need to employ more staff.....maybe these complaints would be dealt with quicker then - like you said they are taking a very long time.:mad:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Di, I have not waited 12 months yet but there are people that have. Its riduculous and the fact that the FOS cannot speed companies into supplying information (as i was told - we do not give a specific time limit!!) is riduculous. Also some people wait and are not fast tracked and then the complaint is too late to be taken anywhere else like through the courts. They need to get it together a bit more. I know they do their best but sometimes things have to change and I think its time that they did things different. People who are not fast tracked at waiting tooo long. They are then no better off in the long run.0

Yes I agree hun, their system is too slow and with many of them taking sick leave or they have certain days off like mine did last year,or just work certain days like the one week with mine it was 2 days a week and the following week 3 days a week....
I worked mine out it had actually taken 14 months, I did think it was Nov 2006 but it was actually October 2006 and it was paid out in Jan 2008.....pathetic if you ask me:rolleyes: .
And going back to companies given extra time to give further information is also a complete waste of time, nemo just kept passing them the same information each time, but was using this as one of their stalling tactics, and of course it going to hold up our complaints.....
And now Laini is going through it like I did with that company !!!The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
