    Hi there.;)

Personally I would ask them for your own copy of the telephone conversation, they may be trying to scare you off and not realising that you may think of asking for a copy.

If there is a problem with them not giving this, I know many would sent a subject access request (SAR) but this will cost you £10 in cheque payment.
Its entirely up to you but if you have ALL the paperwork on hand already that should be fine and will save you a tenner.
I found very useful information on some of my SAR's which I feel will help me when I go to the FOS route if I have to, one complaint has already gone in to the FOS, waiting for some response on others, but have also won a few cases since last year.

If you do have all the paperwork, just write back and request that they send you a copy of the telephone recordings for your ease of mind.
If they do not do this then it would make me think its all made up what they said !

Did they state it was their final response ?

If its the first letter hun, its more than likely a standard fob off template they use, so don't give up.;)

Others here will also advise you of your best options here.

    Good luck.

Thanks for your response, sorry it has taken so long to reply.... moved into our first new home so not had a chance to keep on top of these things..

Ok, so I have the CD recording from M&S, it basically goes through them offering me PPI and me accepting it..

Is my claim now over? I am guessing so and feeling very despondent about it now. Thought it might be a little easier than this...

If it's not over then please can you advise what I should do next?

    Thanks

    Hi there hun
And please just let me say Congratulations on your first new home, hope you settle down well. ;) .

Now hun sometimes a disc does not mean anything, although you may have said yes, did they actually explain the whole product to you? and that you would be paying this as one lump sum like 2 loans etc ? and the interest?

Did they try to make it sound good to you in order to pressure you to take it?

    There are still many reasons.

Go through it again when you have 5 and come back to let us know.
Its not the end yet hunni.;)

What do you class as "going through the PPI and you accepting". Can you be a little more specific.

Great but still got the cough and cold. They would only give antibiotics for it and I am not a fan of them. My hubby had MRSA a few years ago after only a day op and its frightened us all. He was sooo ill after and we avoid the docs now. I have had the flu jab once and last year should have got it but cancelled. I have never had proper full blown flu ever and i know i joke now about my cold but its not flu. Its a heavy cold and probably a bit bronchally too. You will have to PM me about other tests Di.

    Hi there
If your partner has no agreements on hand I would contact them to request copies of this, they should be able to supply them to you free of charge.

If he has finished this altogether then also request the final amount paid into this in writing.
Does he still have his monthly statements on hand by any chance hun ?

Now if he believes this was added without his knowledge then he has grounds for complaint, he needs to get a letter in to the complaints department to complain and reclaim this.
If not successful, we wil go on to the next step.;)

Have a browse on this link, where this may help, and there is also a template reclaim letter he can use, but use your own words if you can and add an explanation to the reason of why he believes he was mis sold, there may also be other reasons also to add.
