    it's marketing - the barclayloan protection is the ppi, but as lucky lucky you you've been allowed to take it out so they call it a premium loan

    in other words the barclayloan protection is the policy, but the premium loan is how you're going to pay for it !!!!

    Completely agree with you Tiggrae so many of them have done the wolf in sheeps clothing recently. They think by changing the name people won't wise up to the fact it all comes under the same rules as PPI.

    thanks to m.colak and tiggrae,

    i think they told me i needed this to get the loan - even though i'm in the forces and get paid 24/7, 365 days a year whether i'm at work (spent 3 months in hospital and 3 months at home and still got paid full wages) or not, martins template is coming off the printer as we speak and will be in the post recorded delivery tomorrow - thanks for all you help - will let you know how i get on - fingers crossed and wish me luck - and good luck to everyone else:T

    Point to note you have overpaid by £1811.36. Hmmmm i think a disproportional rebate here.

    You don't want too know just had the weekend from hell. Buried my wife's grandfather on monday and the poor little fella has had a cold plus he's teething. So wife miserable baby miserable = no sleep. Am back up north so first night of good sleep for a whole week.

    ps had a call of my wife now and she seems a lot happier and little boy is no feeling a lot better so all good news now. Have promised when i get home to get out and about and give wifey plenty of rest.

    You'll have to wait until the 23rd May for the final ruling on bank charges to be made unfortunately like everyone else is at the moment:D
