Its the interest charged on the PPI as well when you settled. Its not to do with the just the rebate.

You will have to decide what to do soon as they only give you 6 months to take this to the FOS from when you first complained??

    :confused::confused::confused:
Okay hun, will do but in your personal opinion what would you do ?:o
So do you think I should try for both or just one or the other, and keep the other one going with the ongoing complaint (Endeavour):confused: , oh dear what am I like ?? :o

You know what bugs me and that is how they arrive at these figures for the PPI in the first place. Like Di's loan of 21K over 300 months and PPI was £2835. 12% PPI element.

Ours was 17K loan over 160 months and PPI £4163. 19.6% PPI element

And most of the co-ops were about 22% PPI element.

Where do they pull their figures out from..

You will have the problem with Endeavour/HSB in that HSB or ENdeavour did not actually sell you the PPI and that is what i did with FIrstplus when Bespoke sold it and the FOS told me that i needed to complain about the person that sold it so sent it back.

As for the rebate one then Endeavour are the ones here you go for as they rebated you. You have no need to use HSB here as Endeavour were under jurisdiction at the time you were rebated.

Hi, I am new to posting, but have been reading these forums for ages, I am just after some advice, I am in the process of writing back to first plus declining their offer for my ppi reclaim. I am pretty sure we will have to go to the fos, but what I wanted to ask was, this is actually my second top up from my existing loan (all loans settled now), but I have only claimed ppi from 3rd top up, should I claim for the other two completely separately?

    Any help would be fantastic.
You first need to actually complain about all three before going to the FOS with them. They need to have had a chance to say "no" to you if you know what i mean and the FOS will not look unless you have final response's for all. I had four loans with the co-op and they did ask if i had actually complained about all four before they could look into this.

Yeah I know what you mean.

The paperwork which was filled in by the broker has the headings of HFC bank Limited (Customer Service Speak with form).

And yet HSBC group is also at the foot of Endeavour's paperwork/agreement.
    Like a vicious circle really I suppose......

Click were the brokers who sold this hun, but their underwriting paperwork is that of HFC bank.

Endeavour the lenders are grouped with HSBC. (also printed on their own paperwork)

    Sorry for the confusion hunni.:o ;) .

Why have you not ever tried to claim from HFC then for misselling?? Is it because of the liquidation thing and don't know how this would be dealt with by the FOS either. Perhaps you could ask at the FOS?? I have not actually written to Barclays re firstplus. I have got my final from FIrstplus and then taken the complaint to the FOS as Barclays trading as firstplus as what tiggrae advised.

Could you not do this with Click???

Exactly hun, this is what I should have done and have a feeling this was why the FOS emailed with the address details...... , it went over my head due to feeling like you did of having the original returned and needed to do more digging in case of any more come backs, then just went on to the unfair rebate thing........
