Yes its worth trying hunni and keep at it, the first letter may possibly be a standard fob off but do not back down.

Send the letter off and if he has any of the paperwork still, you could post up on here the calculations, where someone will be able to help as much as possible.
As you know though do not add the personal details.;)

    Just got letter from FOS
    after second adjudication.
Nemo want it to be reviewed again by an ombudsman this time

    [img][/img]Nemo s response

    investagative jurisdiction

Firstly we ask that you provide confirmation of the basis which FOS holds, as we believe the role of FOS- as stated on your website - to be an impartial service established with the aim of settling disputes. We do not believe that altering and enhancing the customers complaint areas constitutes an impartial service . we therefore ask that you clarify where your investigative jurisdiction is set out.

    Nemos responsibility

At the point of sale there was no requirement for Nemo to provide a verbal explanation of all the significant features of the policy and FOS have not provided evidence to the contrary. The customers were provided with enough information to make an informed decision whether to proceed with the purchase of the insurance policy

theres loads more which I will write later

    Summary

The facts do not support the findings of FOS.It appears that FOS has based its findings on personal opinion only rather than reviewing the evidence available and applying the regulatory requirements in place at the time of the sale

so I am not a happy lady.
    What do you think.
they might get away with this one- grrrrrrrrrrr
still fighting for my money !!!

    Hi Laini

Just posted to you over the road too after reading this.;)

Here I am seeing exactly the same double with what I also received from these when my complaint was with the FOS about these.

They will not get out of it and they are just using stalling tactics in hope that you will give in here, so hun, as maddening as this is, try not to let it get to you.
The FOS will now only give them a short time and my bets are that they willl forward the same information to the FOS as they did first time round.
    (Like mine).;)

Like I said, you will come out the winner here.
    Chin up.:D

Two years ago my son did it and went through his finger (Yuck!!!). Still not got proper use of it now. He swept this time and i cut. He has nightmares looking at it. I was being so careful and then reached over for a little niggly bit and bang...
I was lucky really as it tripped...

Oh you are lucky that nothing else happened. How many stitches did your son have to have. Think best ideas that he sweeps:D

Laini's case is like action replay, like I had with this company of Nemo last year that was also left to deal with through the FOS.

This company are known by now to use stalling tactics and will request this to go to the ombudsman himself, just like mine.

I am certain Laini will win this case, its so much like mine with the way they mis sold this to her, and if I won this case I do really think Laini stands a very good chance.

I do remember feeling like her this time last year, Nemo think by this comment that Laini will back off, again just like mine, but its more or less identical to what was added in my case from these.

I know for a fact with others too that they will do the same thing and hold the case out for as long as possible.

They are not the easiest of companies to deal with, as mine had taken just over a year from start to finish when my complaint against these was with the FOS.

I still think Laini will get through this and at least it will go straight to the ombudsman from the adjudicator if Laini also agrees here, and I know this will go in her favour.;)
