Variable, on the first agreement no interest calculations but on the top up on the term and conditions in tiny writing there are calculations of what interest you may pay on the ppi over the term of the loan but youd need a magnifying glass to see it !
Here is what the competition commission say about agreements and ppi since may 2005

Since the into force of the Consumer Credit (Agreements)(Amendments) Regulation on 31st May 2005 an additional form of consent must be included in credit agreements to be signed by a debtor where a debtor is purchasing PPI.

no legal degree, but have studied law - my qualifications are all in business management, auditing, personnel, management consulting and project and programme management - you'll see I spent a lot of time at night school, never studied full time

it wasn't working for HBOS per se it was the fact it would have taken me 2 hours to drive over there and 2 hours back

why don't you start again if you're interested in the subject - I quite like the law it intrigues me - you just haven't got to be put off by the wording - it's like reading shakespear for the first time feels like a different language but you soon get your head around it

I did accounts for 14 years but only a clerk and never did my AAT but found that them coming from uni , throw them a set of books and then say to them get me a trial balance, they hadn't got a clue. Wish I had done my exams now though and don't say its not too late cause it is and really is. I got toooo involved and could not let up. I always bought work home and sat up all night and lived on pro plus:eek:
