Well, our postie has been and nothing from FOS about my co-op ones. I guess its just a waiting game now. I have had a thing to say its waiting for an adjudicator but rang to ask if this means its within jurisdiction and was told it does not mean this
. I would just like them to be able to say "yes" we can look at it" or no, sorry we can't".
I hope you lot get some good news today.....:D0 -
Good luck then Marshallka, lets hope for better news tomorrow.;)
I still have not even seen the postie here yet again today..... , I will give them until early afternoon then ring the postal services if one not arrived in the street by then.
Strange its been a few days now, okay Monday was bank holiday, but the last post we had was approx last Friday and if your expecting post its so damn annoying when you don't see the postie for a few days.... .The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

I posted earlier where bank/finance companies etc are now offering goodwill gestures knowing that there is a long waiting list for the FOS in the hope that people will accept these now. I would think hard about whether you are prepared to accept these conditions.
Who is the PPI with and when was it taken out if you don't mind us asking?
Hi Marshallka
Sorry for the late reply – busy evening.
The bank is HSBC. Approx 1998 as I did not know that I had PPI
I’m not sure what to do now. I thought if you put ‘ without prejudice’ for acceptance of an offer this would allow you not to be ‘tied’ to any clauses the banks would try to get you to sign to.
I do not want to be tied to an agreement where I cannot challenge HSBC in the future.
It has taken10 months to get to these offers – they have been very slow at responding. I have to reply as the time limit for the offer on one has lapsed (10 days given to reply and I was away at the time) and the other is due to laps in a week.0 -

marshallka wrote: »For now get them the misselling letter sent in if you have not already done so. Then we can take it from there. They will have to send you their final response for anything else to be done here. All is not lost yet but we still have to find out if they were members of the GISC at the date of your PPI. I will try to look on google but it may be worth you ringing the FOS to find out tomorrow and ask them what date it was (if they ever were???). If they were members at the date of the PPI then you can then take your complaint to the FOS for them to investigate it for you. There is a massive waiting list but its well worth the wait. Let us know if you do find anything out about the GISC thing from the FOS. All you do is ring the helpline and make an enquiry to ask if Egg were members and at what date they became members.0
