EssexHebridean wrote: »Thanks to you both. I was asked on the phone about life assurance etc, and it was as a result of that conversation that the girl stated that they would only offer me the loan if I took the insurance - does that make a difference? I can;t recall her telling me that there was interest payable on it although I do remember her explaining that if I paid it off early I would get a partial refund on the insurance as well as on the loan interest itself. (I think)
I'm intending to have this paid off in December (17 months early!) so when am I best to write to them re the missold policy?
Good luck. If you need any more help then just shout.0 -

niemowleSorry if i confused you here. It was just a joke.:o I hope you have not taken offense.
Have they telephoned with a figure of what they are paying you yet. Let us know when they have and someone will no doubt check it for you. They will come up with a figure (i think) and then before accepting get it posted with all the details again on here and hopefully Tiggrae will be on soon and she will be able to check it through.0 -

marshallka wrote: »Ahh yes, just remembered Endeavour letter.... We may (no-one can confirm as there is a debate on this one) have stated some not truths here about the unfair rebates thing. Well, i think you may have a reply on Tuesday and if not then i would not mention the FOS again in the next letter but mention that you will take it court instead. Maybe that is what you should have done in the last letter. They seem to know that FOS will not look into this and we have yet to find that one out for certain so i would definately mention the courts and you need to state the laws in your letter as well so they know you have taken legal advice. I will be back on tomorrow and will try to look through old letters of mine where i had to mention all these things and get back. (tomorrow though as i sooo tired...)
They will not get away with it...
Cool, and good on you with yours.;)
Okay I will leave it until Tuesday then take it from there, but they only have until Tuesday...... , I will mention court because hubby said he is prepared to attend and get this sorted once and for all.;) May just give them a ring or do both...:D
Cheers hun.....:DThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
