The advised/non advised rules did not apply until 14.01.05. May I suggest you replace with "under the law of agency you had a fiduciary duty of care to act in my best interests and by selling me a single premium as opposed to a monthly alternative you failed in that duty".

Dreamer, is it worth contacting FISA again as a long shot. A lot more is known about PPI mis selling since 2004/2005 and maybe they can look at it in a different light especially as I think you were mis sold.

I know it may have been a while since you became aware but its only 2008 that most other people have thanks to the media.

It would only be the price of a stamp and look at how much you have learned to back up your case since 2004/2005.

Di, if Dreamer gets a reply from Wendy then I think it will only be the same reply that I got from all the autorities and also Tiggrae and M Colak too in that "we always have had protection but just it has to be through the courts instead of the FOS here"..

I think that there should be wider jurisidiction but there are always people like Tiggrae who fights for cases like this... I know you have to pay but its often quicker than FOS anyway.

Also M Colak never used the FOS for any of his. He always went through the courts and found it better and quicker...

Dreamer may have to consider the courts here... There really is nothing else to do other than use them. Dreamer was aware in 2004...Kaia and Marcluc had the same probs here but both won before the actual court case. It really may be worth it here otherwise if they leave it any longer (personally I think its been left too long anyway here as its over 4 years since first complaining and they can use the limitations act and even section 32 would not apply here) they will never know..

This is why you have to keep on fighting as you are given a small amount of time to get it all sorted and if its too stressful then you have to hand it over to someone like Tiggrae...

Di, on the FSCS web site they have said how they will sort out the savings of the customers of the icelandic banks.

Hope this means they will now get back to looking at OUR claims!
