Wonder if I will get a reply tomorrow from my email I sent to the adjudicator last Friday ?

He did say to me when he rang me a few weeks ago that he contacted Lloyds for further info, but seemed to think I had given enough, even though if any changes or anything I would like to forward is to let him know.

When my case was with Nemo they did not actually ring me to tell me that my case was passed over, I did not think this was the case ????

This was matty's first details of the loan...first taken over the net and second over the phone. It was phone ones that the Alliance and Leicester were fined for. Matty had PPI on the first loan and cancelled but refinanced and then continued to pay the interest from the first loan PPi on the second.

Hope this gets sorted out then.

I think they have to wait for the stuff from the bank as the bank could offer a goodwill (like co-op did) and then there is not need for anything esle so it quickens things up and I suppose some people accept. If then you do not accept then they have to "look into" the complaint like with mine and that can then take forever. They say about 6 months to complete (says that on the ombudsman complaint process form)

So for them people that are waiting for the complaint to be passed to the adjudicator about 12 months and then 6 months to complete, this is ridiculous.

    It is ridiculous !!

Did they actually ring you unexpected to tell you that your case was passed on to the adjudicator?, I was not expecting it myself as I just thought it would be a letter through the post, yet 2 days after he rang me I received the letter too.

Yep, I had requested fast track though and still want it with my Barclays Firstplus one too. That one is not going to happen though!!! I am now beginning to wonder if again this one is going to get thrown back to me for the wording etc. They cannot be precise on this one when I ring and keep saying this is with the manager and then its being looked at by the fast track team. I think this one will be a wait again and then passed and then sorry cannot look into it. It is really stressing me here. I just want it over and done with. Everytime I think of this one i get angry.

If you count the first time I put this in its 5 to 6 months now. I know I had to resubmit it but its still the same complaint to me. It was fast tracked last time but then thrown out.

Yes I know its not nice for that to happen, I do think they should change their procedures, like make sure it can be looked at first, not make people wait for many many weeks then suddenly get it all thrown back at you !!

I can see why it makes you angry and I know I will be too if mine is thrown back again as that will be the 2nd time this one has gone in even though this one is about the unfair rebate, I done the wrong thing last time anyway adding Endeavour on the complaint form for mis selling when it was not them who sold this, I messed up on that one, so hopefully as long as this is worded properly it will not get thrown back.

It does make me wonder if my Lloyds one was fast tracked because really its not been that long compared to a lot of others still waiting.....

If you asked for the fast track then it will have been. I think they pick one of yours to fast track out of all your complaints and if you win then they can say "you are no longer in trouble money wise" and make you wait for the others.

We did receive a letter last week from our bank, it states they are knocking down the overdraft to a certain amount and we are well over that amount, I do think this was why the bank manager wanted to arrange a review, although she said nothing about the overdraft on the phone, the letter arrived last Weds, then if I remember rightly the day after we then had a loan offer letter...... cannot take a new loan, hubby on the sick and do not want to make yet another mistake.....
