Thanks, because I know the FSCS has now said they are investigating, they told me this last week, I had also mentioned about Essex county loans to them, the email stated that they were not aware they were linked or so with another company as they had only just started their investigations....
This was the email received last week or so:
Dear Mrs
Thank you for your further email and the email just received.
I can confirm that if any further information is needed by you we will contact you to let you know.
We are not aware of any other firm that is linked to this firm in any way as we have only just started our investigations.
If you have any further questions please contact our helpline on 020 7892 7300.
Yours sincerely

Arh thanks hun.
So I assume all this information will come up when the FSCS investigate?, because if they are actively running under a different names do you think they would tell me to pursue through them, or do you think it then maybe a bit like Click, they will not take any responsibility ??
In july 2005 when we had this loan, we never then known them as Twopart, only eloan.co.uk, as this was all over the paperwork and when speaking to them on the phone they would always say eloan first, as we always used to be in touch by email too....again as eloan.co.uk ???
We do see Twopart on some of the paperwork but like i said did not actually realise that until recently. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Just had a call from my mortgage company. My tracker ends next month and then we go up to SVR. A couple of weeks ago before the rate drop of .5% they offered me to change to another product. This would be 6.3%. SVR is 6.5% now. I would have to pay £1000 to change to this product to say myself in the long run £20 per month over 3 years. (with penalties if I move to another). So in all this would save in the long run (as todays interest rate is) £720 but cost me £1000 to do it... . I told them I would wait thankyou...0

Golly its an awkward situation really isn't it
No doubt now you will get many telephone calls from mortgage brokers of offers and deals.
I did find Chelsea Building Society good at the time, in 2003 that was mind, they always seemed to have good deals then for new customers, not sure about now though......:rolleyes:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Just rang the FOS about Barclays Firstplus and unfair rebate of PPI and they are thinking of looking into this one.
All the others of unfair settlement they have agreed that Firstplus were right and its outside jurisdiction:mad: .
I then said to her "well if you found in their favour that they are right on this then they will find in their favour that they are right on the rebate as well".
To which she replied "they are completely different things here and a lot of PPI complaints are upheld like these." She said they would try to see if the rebate was "not right". I then asked her what she mean't by "not right" and she then said that "was I happy with the rebate" and I said "no". I said that PPI cost me £9000 and i got £90 back - was that fair and she said well that is what we will try and help with.
I asked again about fast track and she said it was still waiting to be looked at by the fast track team. I know now that my co-op one was fast tracked but she said that did not make a difference. I will just have to be very patient here i suppose. At least one of mine was fast tracked so my adjudicator told me. (must have been!!)0 -

So its looking hopeful then by the seems of it, fingers crossed hun.;)
You would think as your details would be on computer about fast track anyway they would look into having this one fast tracked too, I hope so.
I know when we had the form back, the one that the FOS filled in here and there, they had added my hubby's old work details and had this on their computer systems from when they were dealing with nemo, they had down steel worker...... .The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
