I added Essex County loan limited in the box and a list of them came up, even though not certain if they are the same ones, I think they may be connected to the same services, I was meant to check yesterday but did not get round to it and the liquidator told me to check with the FSCS, I may ring back and ask him to make sure if they are the same company or not.;)

And yet they are under liquidators according to the write up in that box and address of liquidators.....

I checked some of the others from the list that you gave on companies house and they are under "dissolved" but not the one that took over two part yet!!

The one that took over Essex County Loans LImited is still active on there..

strange that because once the liquidators are involved its nothing really to do with the company, because I said to that guy at the liquidators on the phone yesterday I should contact them then, he said not to bother because they are no longer active...... .

When my hubbys's works went into administration just days before Christmas (steelworks) when we rang his works for different things, it was that of the liquidators who were there dealing with everything,they were at his works, maybe it there is a difference in liquidation/dissolving/administration though I expect and normally these do take a while.

My hubby is still waiting for his big payout now (compo) that all of the 400 steelworkers are and when you think about it - its almost been a year coming in December...... , so yep its more than likely a different company in default....:o oops ....lol.

Yes I agree they are more than likely old lists on the FSCS website lol.

Di, that list from the FSCS is from companies dissolving years ago. I have checked them all.
