My challenge is to make a new dish for dinner once a week! Last night we had spicy bean stew (adapted from the box our sainsbury's tomato puree came in) and it was so yum!

oooh.. can I play???
I have a few things I want to change..
1. Do not buy lunch from Cooplands.. you have a house full of food!! (but the delivery guy.. well..)
2. stop BUYING on ebay.. and anything I NEED has to be money-neutral
3. keep a minimum of 10 items on ebay.. bringing in cash.. instead of huge listing days and losing motivation
4. Be more socialable and speak to at least 1 new person a week.. I find this REALLY difficult!
5. Be better at clearing the front roomLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Hi Mellika :hello:
Check the freebies board, they have loads of detail on both www.pigsback.com and www.quidco.com which are the two main ones that people use on the DFW board... Pigsback gives you "piggypoints" which are equal to a penny each, and there tends to be 5 points a day plus bonus points if you sign up for brochures/book things through the website. Quidco is a pure cashback site, 5 pounds membership per year comes out of your earnings (but not if you don't earn a fiver), and you buy things through the site like insurance, gambling sites, train tickets - I've had about 200 pounds back in 6 months.

Well I've had my 2 alcohol free days :A Wednesday & Thursday, so I'm going to treat myself to a glass of red with my evening meal tonight.
Congratulations to everyone else who has made their change, :T
My challenge for next week is a little more - well - challenging! I went for a trial at a gym on Wednesday & I liked it. It's all women, no mirrors & full of 'normal' women wearing t shirts & leggings not super fit posers.
I'm going back tomorrow to do an induction & then I'm going to commit to going at least 3 times a week from next week. I'm not usually good with exercise but I need to do more.0 -
I'll be congratulating myself ceridwen - if I manage it it'll be the first time ever !!!!!
Still, I've given myself the extra little (or big ?) challenge of doing one of my 'projects' each week............they're not huge things, just bits that need a bit of re-vamping and if I plough through the paperwork every day, then painting something will feel like a real treat............lol
(Mind you there's always some paperwork that has to be left till the next day if I need to make a phone call about it and get told to ring back next day but I'll still count as it being done as I've actually picked it up and made a concerted effort....................lolMary
