this week i am going to get back into taking my lunch to work instead of buying over priced sandwiches!! i used to do this but have fallen behind over the last few month. i have been taking salad everyday this week so far and tommows is boxed up in the fridge, i just need to take a piece of quiche out of the freezer! cheaper and healthier than the expensive overpriced rubbish i have been buying!! and takes me over my 5 a day.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0

Small correction to earlier post.
its 1kg at £1.50 on BOGOF for sweet potatoes...
Managed to achieve my change for today (at least) had southern friend chicken and roasted pots, sweetpots, parsnip and carrots... and I was little bit sneaky and put some silverskin onions on my plate too
A random question, you can freeze vegetables, and do you freeze them uncooked and whole, or do you have to cook them first?:smileyhea NewYorkCityBride&Groom :smileyheaPositive things happen to positive peopleTotal Debt £25,317.59 (Apr '08)Total Current Debt £22,832.77 (July 6th '08)0 -
I'd also love to join and I think my change should be to make the packed lunch before 9pm each evening. Can I also have a number? We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0

I'd like to join too please. Making gradual changes is such a great idea. I'm one of those people who get all enthusiastic & try & do it all at once then get overwhelmed by it & give up.
My challenge this week is to have at least 2 alcohol free days! I'm not exactly a heavy drinker but I like a glass of wine with my evening meal & usually another later in the evening.
Apart from feeling that my liver could do with a break sometimesit's an expensive hobby!!
Tonight is my first day, I've drunk tea & gigner cordial (not in the same glass!)0 -
Oh yes i def want in on this one! Add me I need to start making little changes.
My change for this week will have to be to put my crap away before i go to bed at night so i don't wake up again with a shoe next to my head! Also it might be nice to be known as the girl who's room is not always a mess!0 -
I have gone through my in basket - sorted most of it, filed some of it. I need a "Still working on" folder which of course must be checked regularly!!! Baby steps! If there is to be any peace, it will come through being, not having - Henry MillerM.A.C.A.W Member . . Wannabe Flybaby0

Failed already - didn't quite get organised enough to take a packed lunch yesterday. Must try harder today!0

Oooh me too, please!
I always have these wonderful aims which fill two sides of A4, and then give up when I don't achieve half of them.
So.
My ONE aim for this week is to make my lunch before I go to bed, and not in a rush in the morning.
Thankyou - great idea!

Hi Can I be added too. I'd like a number as well!
This is a really good idea, my change this week is to sort out the letter rack as well, full of stuff not needed any more but just easier to 'stuff' in the letter rack as it's off the worktops!
Hi to all the flyladies here!!!!!!!!!!!!Need to sort my life out! :T0
