Certainly a lot of mouths to feed. We can see 6 chicks, I shall upload some new videos either later today or tomorrow.0

Running out of space in my email box so finding good videos to upload is proving hard. Instead of the usual feeding frenzy I've got some unusual behaviour with regards to the toilet habbits of the chicks!0

Wow, this is fantastic!
Only just found the thread. Ive got a (new) family in a box in my garden and Im obsessed with them!
I missed all of Coronation St tonight as I was sat outside the box just watching the comings and goings!!!
Keep up the great work!0 -
Last year, a thrush decided to trust me to feed it close up - first time for both of us I think, lol.
I would find it waiting for me sitting on a fence post, and it would fly down to be fed, and I am still amazed at how close it would come ...

Nice video!
Have updated the blog with some stats from birdcam and uploaded a new video showing a caterpillar that has managed to miss being eaten!

Another video clip uploaded.
The chicks seem to be trying to create their own space and prove that they are the top dog!0 -
As of 2pm today it appears that all the chicks have died.
The chicks became quieter and quieter and mum was spending less and less time in the box looking after them.
It may be that the dad has died and therefore wasn't able to support the family with food or it may be that there weren't enough caterpillars at this time of year.
Thanks for everyone who stayed tuned, we will be back next year with hopefully better results.0 -
