I have no connection with greasypalm and got an £81 cheque from them the other day having signed up about 2 months ago.
No complaints at all so far.0 -
Just to add to those above who warned only to buy things you would have bought anyway; I would only buy through a GreasyPalm affiliated retailer if they sell the product I want to buy at the cheapest price I've seen. There's no point getting a 1% or 2% rebate through GreasyPalm if the same product is available 5% or 10% cheaper elsewhere. For instance, none of the three main computer component retailers I regularly use are available through GreasyPalm and I usually save several pounds purchasing from them as opposed to Dabs, Comet, PC World etc, even after their rebates.
1) Decide on the product you wish to purchase
2) Look around to see who offers the best price
3) If that cheapest price is from a GreasyPalm affiliated retailer then great, you've saved some money. If it's not, don't go to the affiliated retailer unless the cashback would make it ultimately cheaper than the original cheapest retailer (if you follow me!)This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I agree wholeheartedly with this - I always find the best price first, then check to see if it is affiliated with GreasyPalm. If not, I check some of the other cash/pointback sites that I use, often it is affiliated elsewhere.
Mr. GreasyPalm (if you are still reading this thread) - is there any way we can suggest retailers that we would like you to add? I have purchased from a few sites that advertise an affiliate scheme, but aren't on GP yet?
C.Free is my favourite price!0 -

C.
I know Rpoints will allow you to suggest new retailers and in my experience, provided that retailer has an affiliate scheme, they get quickly added to the site.
For anybody not been there before, they can be found here http://www.rpoints.com/go0 -

Yep, I'm still here!
Certainly, let me know what retailers you would like to see - I can't promise they will appear instantly but I'll try to get them organised for you.
All the best,

I hadn't heard of GreasyPalm [& haven't checked it out yet] but I recently joined MyCashBack.com which sounds like a similar sort of thing. They credit you with a fiver when you join & u can request yr cashback when youve accumulated 25 quid. I haven't tried to claim yet obviously as I've only just joined. Anybody had any experience with MyCashBack.com ?This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Even though all our retailers are UK based many of them use a US company to track the transactions we send them. This means the cashback figures are subject to currency fluctuations and recently we have taken quite a hit on the weak dollar.
But don't worry I have now updated our systems internal currency conversion rate and when I next update the database the reward rate will return to the advertised amount and your cashback for this transaction adjusted accordingly.
