Greasy Palm Question ?

Just a quick question as I know alot of people use Greasy Palm affiliated links to build up cash.

Has anyone ever received a cheque from Greasy Palm once their balance has exceeded £25.

I only ask because alot of people have been asking this question in other threads - however no-one has answered positively yet.
Regards

    Hi, all

Just a quick response to above, I have received a cheque for £31 from greasypalm.

They send them every 4 months I think it said.
    Maybe I was lucky, don't know ???

    Regards

I have agreasy palm account, it's not up to £25 yet I don't really doubt I'll get my money, just takes a while to build up, I prume thats how they make their money more profitable by gaining interest before it's sent out. If I hadn't have signed up though I wouldn't be any worse off as I'd have still bought the same items online.

In greasypalms defence I presume there is also a delay in case you order, get cashback & then return your order.

    Many dealys in process

the retailers pay the affiliate company, who pay Greasy who pay the users.

i have some direct affiliated schemes and these take on average 3 months from purchase date (some upto 6 months)

So I can understand the delay in getting GP cheque.

Whether they can be trusted once all the monies come pouring in - I would like to think so, but I suggest only use links for things you would have purchased anyway.

( BTW i downloaded the bonus print software 3 times at 50p cashback a throw, and all credited to my account)

  • Yep - received a cheque for just over £25 this morning.

I would echo previous comments though - I had to email GP several times before I got my cash.
  • Hello All,

It's not my intention to drop by and spam the group but I work for GreasyPalm and just wanted to pop my head in the door and say hello :)

I've only just discovered this forum and will try to keep an eye on any related posts but if anyone has any immediate questions that need a response then do please contact me by email on neil@GreasyPalm.co.uk

Just to pick up on a few points raised in this thread:

    Spacman asked:

"Has anyone ever received a cheque from Greasy Palm once their balance has exceeded £25"

We have sent thousands of pounds worth of rebate cheques out. I know as I have to sign them all ;)

I'm not sure how many forum members here are also GreasyPalm members but perhaps you'll find others here stand up and confirm they have been paid.

We used to issue payment runs quaterly but recently we reduced this to monthly payments.

Mini and Payless commented on turnaround times.

There are a few issues at hand. The main issue is that of course our retailers only pay rebates against valid sales and they need at least 30 days to confirm a purchase hasn't been returned/exchanged etc.

The retailers can then take another 30-90 days to issue to us the rebate payment. So our 30 day arrears period against confirmed purchases tries to reach a happy medium - it allows retailers time to confirm rebates and in most cases gives us a chance to collect due monies (although in some cases we still issue payment before actually collecting from the retailer).

Smiggers, mentioned they had to chase up some rebates. I estimate our tracking systems as being 99% accurate but sometimes retailers accidently drop the tracking code needed to pass back the data as to who bought what. In these cases we have a purchase notification form for members to complete so I can chase up the retailer and try to pick up on the due rewards for you.

In terms of payment, our database does this automatically. If you are due a payment the system prints a cheque, emails you a confirmation and the postman should then appear with your cheque in a few days :)

Sorry for such a long post!

If anyone needs anything then drop me an email.

    All the best,

    Hi Neil,

I signed up for greasypalm but i must admit initially I thought it was not a good idea because of certain aspects of the site.

For instance on a banner ad for Betfair in the Casino section underneath it says"£7.50 Cashback when you create a new accpunt"

A small spelling mistake but it can put an element of doubt about the websites credentials.

Anyway - I signed up and all is looking good. I registered for something thru the site and received my cashback within 5 days.

Just need £12 to get upto the magical £25.

    Hi Neil

nice to see you here answering the questions some people had.

I have recently had an email telling me my money is on the way (also a little bit for the referrals scheme)

On this basis I certainly have no qualms in using or recommending the scheme- personally I am surprised your scheme (and the similiar other schemes) are allowed to get away with this , thought advertisers would not want to pay for biz they may have already got - but hey, make hay.........

Do you read this site - notice they have been cancelled ;D

  • grittyhubcap,

I'm *embarrased* by that typo, thanks for pointing out I'll have it fixed tomorrow!

    Payless,

All the retailers have their rules. The normal retailers welcome the business after all they fear it may go to a competitior otherwise.

The lead based offers are more strictly policed by the merchants.

Sorry, the merchant automatically clawed the dupes back (although they should have allowed one valid one to remain)!

"generally" the lead based offers should be consider as one per household.
