Good luck to you G3ORG3, I think it shows real initiative to be considering making your own money at this age rather than turn to your parents. Everyone has to start somewhere, of course qualifications help, but passion and enthusiasm can't be taught, and it looks like you have those.
I don't see any reason to be rude to this MSEr, after all they are only twelve, come on cut the kid some slack!

I don't think though that we should be encouraging a minor to break the rules and try to trade on ebay with fake details

G3ORG3 - just wanted to wish you luck - I think it's great that a 12 year old is trying to make some money for himself.
My 7 year old is doing his first car boot sale next month (dad's driving don't worry!), he's organised all his own stock, he's priced it and he can't wait, just hope it doesn't rain....
It's never too early to be a MSE!
Tell Him goodluck And tell me how much profit he makes :) Maybe we can go into a little competition

Really enjoying this thread!! Given me a good laugh.
But don't anybody get upset by it, or drawn into arguments - it's just somebody having a laugh with you all - this is NOT a twelve year old folks!!
It's actually quite difficult to misspell everything to such a degree. Les Dawson played the piano so badly, because he was so good at it - the OP is good at what he does too - go on mate! You can't make a bigger fool of yourself (or us lot for responding!) you go for it!.

Is a 12 year old legally allowed to start a business and declare themselves as self-employed if they are not even old enough to have a paper round? How does National Insurance contributions work, if they have not been issued with a national insurance number yet?

I don't see a problem with carbooting with parents to get rid of personal belongings (although the last few car boots I have seen all seem to be "under the radar traders") or odd-jobbing for pocket money, but here the OP is 12 years old, has a very loose grasp on communication skills and actively seeking help in breaking eBay policies.

Admire the enthusiasm by all means, but at least try to get them on the right track. They need to finish their education to bring them up to a decent standard of literacy in order to deal with real businesses and day to day communication, and improve other peoples' perception of them. I've lost count of the number of CV's I have thrown out due to basic grammatical errors, and I have little intention of trading with or employing anyone who can not string a proper sentence together.

However, 10 out of 10 for this comment - "My dads brothers sons girlfriends sisters Man". I haven't laughed so much since watching Vicki Pollard on youtube!!!

Hmm, now I think I am beginning to agree with alfiesmum, a couple of similarities with a previous alledged underage user are creeping in, so I think I will bow out of this thread and leave you to it.
