  • I starting selling at carboots when i was your age

Why not ask friends and neighbours if there is things they dont want at home, perhaps offer to help them clean out their garage, shed or loft in exchange for a few boxes of items they want to get rid of, this is what i used to do at your age, i found i had more boxes than i knew what to do with :)

I does not cost you a penny, and all the sales are pure profit :)

Am I missing something here? Far be it from me to put down young entrepreneurs but isn't there an age limit for getting a paypal account? Not to mention issues with driving to the car-boot at that age?

Also, as a person under the age of 18 (or is it 16?) can not legally sign any form of contract, surely they can't even have an ebay account either, never mind a shop!

    Good luck to them tho!

Also - just to say what everyone is TRULY thinking, How on earth do you expect to be employed with such awful spelling and grammar? If you are 12 years old then your parents should be selling items for you as you shouldn't be able to use Ebay. Plus - where on earth would a 12 year old get "contacts in wholesale"?!!?!!!!?! If you mean you haven't been employed for the last 12 years (i am only guessing as due to your appalling grammar, you could mean ANYTHING!) then perhaps you should explore the reasons Why and perhaps take a trip down to the job centre .......on your way to the car boot ....... in your car which you bought with money earned by doing........? (So many questions!!!!!):confused::confused:
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?

awwe come on guys give the lad a break
how many times do people moan about lazy youngsters sitting on their backsides playing video games or hanging out on street corners getting up to no good.
I wish more 12 years had initivate like that infact i wish more adults would have more get up and go in them instead of living off state benefits as it if was their god given right to do so.

My 12 year old helps us set up our stall and then he goes off to another trader where he unloads her van and helps her set up and then he works her stall till its time to pack up.

    I do agree with this.
Help out with car boots etc, but I don't think children should be allowed to sell on ebay.

You are supposed to be 18 to open an Ebay account:

    http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/identity-underage-users.html

They don't check very much though.

However you also have to open a Paypal account, that might prove a little more difficult.
