My baby was called fifitrixibelle as she looked like a princess!!! This was before Bob Geldof pinched her name off me!!!
I also had a Sooty (not really suitable for yours) a Tootsie, Zak and Moccha as he used to sleep in a moccasin!!!
The other person was right as soon as you get her home you will choose the right name for her!!!
Good luck and don't forget to get insurance, they can be expensive pets!!:j0 -
should probably add that my cats rarely get called by their names and are noo-noo baby, badger (cos badgers are bad !!) and pops
you'll know when you meet them

My cats are caled Meisha (after my old cabbage patch kid) and Flossie. My old cat sadly died last year:(, he was called Greebo (from the Discworld books) but was also nicknamed Chairman Miow or Venerable Old Gentleman as he ruled the house like a dictator!. Don't think you can really give them a name that's 'them' until you've got to know them a bit.0

My mum and dad have two persians, a girl called Garfield and a boy called Willow, although my mum is thinking of changing their names as she says willow for a boy sounds a bit camp and garfield ain't a girls name:p
We had a black shorthair called Persephone before that, after greek goddess of the underworld, and a tabby kitten called tabitha (but she had to be put down at an early age cause she had problems with her back legs that couldn't be fixed)

Cooking Fat ! is certainly the best name for a cat, so when it's late at night and your trying to call the cat in, and get off to bed, somehow calling Trixie, poppet, or fluff doesnt have the same ring as
"Come ere ya cooking fat" ; )0 -
I still think FE is the best for feline

Cats to date
Jarvis, Newton, Sherlock and Cheech. Only got Newton and Sherlock now, sadly. Cheech was a girl and that suited her, named by my mate. Sherlock was going to be called Chong but it didn't stick. Sherlock suits him better
A friend of mine didn't know what to call her fluffy baby tom so he was refered to as a cheeky monkey. Monkey is his name to this day.
You'll know when it's right.
Newton gets called Newtycat, Nootles and Nootlynoo. Sherlock is Sherlycat, Sherly the girly and ShinySherlock.
Both are also known as 'the most beautiful cat in the world' they like that.0 -
Stick with Puss lol....that is what you will call at the back door probably anyway.0

My cat is called Oh-no - well thats what DH said when I bought her in 'Oh no not another cat!' as she is part Siamese it quite suits her
We've also had Bones - he had grey stripes. Mac - short for McCloud as he had cloudy markings, Rags - fur was always messy. Bear - 'cos he used to sit up on his back legs like a baby brown bear! & Wednesday - cos she was born on a WedsnedayI THINK is a whole sentence, not a replacement for I KnowSupermarket Rebel No 19:T0 -
