My long-haired grey/white puss is called Kizzy - there are two lots of people - those who think it's unusual and those who are old enough to remember Roots ........;)
When I was growing up we lived on a farm and only had outdoor cats (to be avoided & really just to keep the mice population down). My Mum for some reason called the females Granny and the boys Tom - we eventually got a house-cat called Ginger and yes, he was....!!0 -

we went through various names..... i think we might wait untiil she is at home to see what her personality is like.
so far we got
fizz
buzzer
caramel
cleo (as I drive a clio)
we like kizzy
pepsi
dizzy!
then I came up with Millie, which the kids really like. I said we might take the top favourites and pull a name out of a bag!!0 -
call it FE as in feline
my dog is called Kay like Kaynine
Steph x0 -
I'd say wait till you have got her at home as she might have a little personality trait that helps, or you can try them out to see what fits her!
my mum used to write the choices on paper and squish them into balls and let the cat choose- she had a lottie, a rupert and a milo..
we got asked to name our kitten at 5 weeks so they had something to call her, and we said sophie, and though she has stayed sophie, I do wish I had had more time to see what suited- or something appropriate to her bad habits of chewing fabrics!!
I bought a rabbit and had decided she would be agatha, and that ended up not seeming right and we settled somehow on thisbe (thizz-bee)0 -
Hi
When we picked up our cat, (a white and grey tabby with blue eyes), on the way back in the car, the White Stripes Blue Orchid was playing on the radio so we decided to call her Orchid (kitten was kind of striped, blue eyes...:o ).
When we took her to the vets to be checked over, we found out that she was a boy so we renamed him Mowgli(and his eyes aren't blue any more).
I wanted to call our latest addition ASBO but the kids wouldn't let me. As it happens, it would've been perfect as she's the most anti social cat we've ever had.
sp
Oo Orchid I may steal that for my new addition! Our last cat was called Ambrose, really suited him.
I love the name Buttons for a little cat.0
