I'll join you late Holly. I am giving myself until 2:30 to finish what I can in the kitchen then call it a day. I am really not in the mood for flying or anything else.

Johanne I agree with all that Pigpen has said (wonder if that's worth a dog biccy :p ) but would also say don't worry about the death notice. Those that knew FIL will know who loved him and how much, those that didn't know him, well it doesn't matter as to them it will be chip paper tomorrow. When we did the notice for my DH it wasn't until the paper came out that I realised I had missed out 'loved son in law' I was mortified and told mum and dad how I felt. Dad said he knew it had been missed at the time but said not to worry as DH knew what they thought of him. SIL was a PITA when the funeral director was there wanting this that and the other that I just did not realise the notice was not right.

Like I said before, write it all down so that you get the stress out of your system and then move on from it. You can show your OH your notes later or leave them out for him to 'find'. Your most important job is looking after yourself and your baby. She will arrive when she's good and ready and not a moment before, until then REST.

May i have a dog biscuit for my sister?

She has been an absolute star. She has thoroughly hoovered (i.e. pulled everything out and cleaned it properly like i would if i were capable) the kitchen, dining room, living room, hall, porch and stairs for me.

While she did that i was able to sort out some washing, and get the next load on, load up the TD, and clean all the sides and small appliances in the kitchen.

It was really good actually, as we had a bit of a chat and she looked at the newly decorated rooms before we started, then we had lunch and a chat when we finished.

And because i was doing jobs where i wasn't doing a lot of bending down, i was able to get on for longer too, so the house is looking a bit brighter and cheerier for a lot less effort on my part.

I'm going to get my feet up for a bit now before doing the nursery pick up, feeling quite organised and happy.
