Morning. I was right, DD is off sick  She's all icky nosed, coughing, sore throat/ears and her glands are like golf-balls  So dosing her up with plenty to drink, and some cough/cold medicine once she's finished her breakfast of soggy cereal (so it doesn't hurt). She currently watching 101 Dalmations and plans on watching lots of DVDs and reading some more of her Harry Potter book and bed by 5.30 apparently :rotfl::rotfl: Well she was still awake at 10pm last night, and decided she was going to have a conversation with me at middnight when I went to bed so early night is definitely happening!

I am indeed.. we have never had a TV.. I begrudge every penny of the extortionate licence fee.. we do watch some things (like time team and grand designs) on 4oD.. you don't need a licence unless it is live streaming at the same time as it is showing on the goggler.. we did check! lol

  • Hi, i hope everyone is well, big hugs for them that need one. i got back on thursday but have not done that much:rotfl: so count me in this week. i'm back at college on wednesday so i will only be working up to level 2 for now. i feel a lot more chilled out after being away for a couple of weeks. my dad is starting to get a bit better, he just needs to build him self back up ready for the next op, his weight has droped to 60kg because after his 1st op the hospital only feed him soup for 2 weeks, then when he was discharged, he was back there again after 10 hours having to have an emergency op to repair the busrt stiches on the inside, so that was another 2 weeks of now real food, that was then followed by flu and the last week he lost the use of his right arm but it is getting back to normal now, the doc said it was muscular but i'm not so sure because he hadn't done anything to strain it, the poor guy has realy been through alot.

    Morning all

I'm in but I'm moody so probably reading more than posting. Two loads of washing out on the line, I've done all the kitchen, dusted and vacuumed the living room and hallway and taken the dog out.

I'm going to attempt to be in after much procrastination - the witchy household is decidedly untidy right now, I have gotten so used to just doing what's absolutely necessary like laundry and dishes. I did vacuum last week when I thought my friend was coming over, and I got the downstairs quite tidy too - but my bedroom looks like an eBay powerseller's warehouse.

Just been sat here putting old jiffy bags in the bin after removing my address (bit OCD when it comes to addresses on mail) - yes I do reuse my jiffy bags but there does even come a time when you have many that are beyond reusing they have been reused that often! Or they are so well wrapped that they tear beyond recognition. I hate throwing away all that paper stuff stuck to bubble wrap lining into landfill. I even attempted to remove the paper from the plastic but it has bits of plassy stuck to it!

Right - I am going to deep clean the kitchen, including at least one cupboard. I am also going to get the bedroom a bit tidier readier to tackle it later in the week!
Thanks for the list and thread pigpen!
