Morning all.

Polly come and sit with me - I'm lacking motivation today, everything seems an effort.
Denize I love autumn do you have lots of lovely colours on the trees?
G&B you made me wince, see I told you I can't see why you do it last week

I have done my dalies, changed a bed, one wash on the line, second about to go out. Going to do 15 minutes straighening the living room and then decide if I'm hitting the garden or kitchen first.

I'll get all the stuff ready for the post office whilst having lunch

still here.. still pregnant...but due today. Dont feel well. Very upset.

[START RANT]

MIL has managed to really uspet me yesterday over FIL funeral and crowned it off today without even being here! Big fuss made yesterday as she "only just" realised im not catholic.. despite me and OH being together 2 years and it being discussed a million times.... so now shes inisiting i go up when they take communion and be blessed .. (even though im not comfy with it at all).. and i cant sit next to my OH cos SHE wants him with her so i have to sit alone behind them with her 10 yr old grandson who hardly speaks to me and his dad who i dont get along with. AND i have to carry the rose we have ordered on behalf of the baby and place it on the coffin even though im not comfy with that either and then take it away with me after the service?! She also arranged the crem music without OH and I getting a say like we were meant to and has arranged for catholic hymns.. when we wanted music FIL loved. Shes kicked off that we want a red ribbon on the rose (FIL and us mad LFC fans) cos SIL is having blue and pink off her kids...... shes also ordered me NOT to have the baby before friday cos she couldnt cope with any more "problems" at the moment....

AND now today i just read the death notice on the local papers website - which was done while i wasnt there.. and it mentions loving husband of her, much loved dad to OH and SIL, devoted grandad to SILs 3 kids "and soon-to-be new grandchild".. and then "Father-in-law of Andy and fondly remembered by Johanne." MAYBE its just me being over emotional but that makes it sound so impersonal and like im not really part the family despite being told i am.. and knowing FIL longer than OH.. its more than "fondly remembered" im sorry I loved him like my own dad!!! I know its only an engagement ring on my finger and not a wedding band but we always referred to each other as FIL and DIL and now shes put me in like some stranger not even same catergory as Andy who didnt even get on with FIL!! Im devastated and sitting her sobbing.. cant even bring it all up with OH as dont wanna upset him....

Sorry everyone.. i really need to get out and make some "real life" friends so i dont have to rant on a public internet board I just feel so horrible at the moment.

Will be getting on with my list from last week as didnt get to finish it yesterday and then will tackle level 1 each room this week as baby is due. Anything else will be a bonus.

Will update with proper list later... going to go have a cup of tea and try and calm down.

I'm back in this week. I haven't done any flying for about 3 weeks. The two weeks of the Easter hols I didn't manage much, and as it doesn't take much for me to fall by the wayside I didn't do much last week either. This week DH is away in Poole on a lifeboat course (he's just changed to a different station so needs a course on his new lifeboat). It means I don't have to wake up at 5.30 every morning! I've set my alarm for 6.45 for the week. Oh luxury:rotfl:

Yesterday I managed to do all my ironing, make a new peg bag, make a curtain for DD1's bedroom, make two traybakes (one chocolate, one lemon) and two loaves of bread. The kitchen needs a going over so I'll get on to that in a few minutes.

So far I've done hardly anything, just spent 30 minutes reading Harry Potter to DD and then another 30 minutes on the playstation with her :rotfl::rotfl: Just about to put another wash load out on the line, then I'm going to make some lunch as I'm really hungry today. DD is busy playing Croc so thats her quiet until I tell her to switch it off then all hell will probably break loose! :rotfl::rotfl:

Level One
Clear and wipe work surfaces
Level Two
Sweep and Mop the floor
Clean the gacky filters and drawers from WM
Wipe the cupboard fronts, appliances and all those manky corners!!
Level Three
Clean all those small appliances, wipe their home then put them back..
Wipe the gicky things out of the fridge.
Extras

• Clean oven/hob if you must.. *rolls eyes*
• Clean windows and sills

Deep clean challenge day one..
Empty the cupboards and clean the entire insides, start with the worst cupboard!!.. shelves, everything.

1. Figure out what needs using up first and work it into your meal plan this week!
2. Clear clutter from shelves and wipe them over.. I want to see empty spaces and shiny shelves!!

((Johanne)), please take care of yourself and the baby. All this stress is not good for either of you. Your Mil is being very insensitive, you are obviously never going to get along and there is nothing you can do about it, so please try to just ignore her as best you can.

Done some of my list, will try and finish it off while LO is at nursery.

Yesterday:-

I was a good girl :- Ironed, washed car, hoovered it out, cooked and washed the kitchen floor again.

Iam awarding my self a Monday bonus point, don't know what they are but it sounds good to have bonus point!! :rotfl:

Not sure if i am going to get anything done today. DS2 is ill today, wants to be cuddled constantly. I cant even put him down to go to the loo!!!!

Will see if i can get him to have a nap in abit then crack on with as much as i can while he sleeping.

Johanne - ((((hugs))))) - try not to let her get to you - hard I know but if you do she's won. Concentrate on what FIL meant to you and what you meant to him - sounds like you had a good relationship - maybe she was jelous because you got on so well? Thinking of you.

Not started doing any flying yet - DD2 tucked up in bed so time to get moving - she's still poorly but seems to have picked up a bit and has managed to keep down some water and toast this morning but she's still got a temperature. Hopefully she'll be brighter when she gets up.

Big hugs Johanne. Planning a funeral is an awful time. You're all grieving, you're all in a touch of shock and little things that would normally wash off your back like a duck's can often be difficult to cope with.

Mind you, I think if I'd been ordered not to have the baby before Friday, I'd be drinking as much raspberry leaf tea as my kidneys could cope with, jumping up and down and eating curry in an attempt to make the baby come BEFORE Friday. But then I'm mean like that..
