    Killer Kitchen - Monday
    Level One
    [strike]Clear and wipe work surfaces
Open the windows and let in the spring![/strike]
    Level Two
    [strike]Sweep and Mop the floor[/strike]
[strike]Clean the gacky filters and drawers from DW's, WM's etc
Wipe the cupboard fronts, appliances and all those manky corners!![/strike]
    Level Three
[strike]Wipe the table, replace cloth if needed
Clean all those small appliances, wipe their home then put them back..
Wipe the gicky things out of the fridge.[/strike]
    Extras
    • [strike]clean oven/hob if you must.. *rolls eyes*[/strike]
    • HHI .. with your clean iron!!
    • Clean windows and sills
[strike]treat the pets for fleas!!! This is prime time for them to be developing an infestation.. the last thing you need in your house! (still not done mine.. bad me!)
[/strike][strike] had it in your wardrobe since time began!.. ebay it, recycle, freecycle or donate![/strike]
Iron to the bottom of the basket.. it can be done and yes of course there is one!

I am feeling good, I have unfilled, filled the dishwasher with the help of my 5 year old, I have vacced the living room floor, kitchen floor, hall floor and utility room floor, then mopped kitchen and utility room floor.( floors need vaccing on daily basis due to a crawling 10 month old baby princess who will put anything and everything in her mouth!)
I have wiped over the hob, bleached the sink.
All of the small apliances are wiped over after use then put away.

Cats are treated for flea prevention on a regular basis so this isn't due yet! however worming took place last night for one very unhappy fat cat who refused to eat his food!

    What does HHI mean?

Ironing? I did some last night, bottom of the basket is never seen and never likely to be seen I hate, loathe and detest ironing :(

as for the 27 items, don't think the other half will be happy me throwing stuff out, however I did clean out the car and throw away all of the crap and old toys from in there! (recently moved house and my car still had boxes in it!!!)

Stumbled across this thread by accident, glad I did, my 5 year old son and I have had so much fun running round the house like lunatics trying to get things done!!!

Justamum I would ring the bank and ask to have the charges withdrawn. If you do it straight away some banks do it out of goodwill. I need to get DS2 to do the same when he gets home as he has been charged for a DD that should not have been claimed, by the uni he has left, who tried to take hall fees out of a bank account with no money in it! Ooops!!

I have finished all jobs on the list today and have made tonights dinner for our visitors and DH and DS3 have mended back porch window and door ready for fitting a cat flap.
    Still to do

    Make up bed for visitors
    Mash potatoes for shepherds pie
    Worm dogs
    Collect kindling
    Sort clothes away upstairs
S and S bathrooms esp. one visitors will be using!!

pigpen I would love to have no TV as it gets put on by DH as soon as he comes in and it stays on all day!!
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

    Afternoon campers!

Right, I got a headstart yesterday, which is just as well, as we've been out all day, due to a change in plans, so let's see where I got:

    Killer Kitchen - Monday
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Clear and wipe work surfaces
Open the windows and let in the spring![/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Sweep and Mop the floor
Clean the gacky filters and drawers from DW's, WM's etc
Wipe the cupboard fronts, appliances and all those manky corners!![/STRIKE]
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Wipe the table, replace cloth if needed
Clean all those small appliances, wipe their home then put them back.. [/STRIKE]
Wipe the gicky things out of the fridge.

    Extras
    • [STRIKE]Clean oven/hob if you must.. *rolls eyes*[/STRIKE] - I, even, pulled out the oven and cleaned behind it!!!!!
[STRIKE]HHI .. with your clean iron!!
    Clean windows and sills
    [/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]treat the pets for fleas!!! This is prime time for them to be developing an infestation.. the last thing you need in your house! (still not done mine.. bad me!)[/STRIKE] - No pets, except the spiders ;)
Deep clean challenge day one.. I do not want anyone straining themselves so if this is too much or not sensible because you'll hurt yourself don't do it!! Listen to your body.. apart from Mudbath.. you, hun, just do something!!! lol

[STRIKE] Empty the cupboards and clean the entire insides, start with the worst cupboard!!.. shelves, everything.
    1. Get rid of the chipped plates etc.. the chipped parts harbour germs of disgusting proportions as the pottery but it porous they have lots of places to hide.. revolting.. get rid!
    2. Figure out what needs using up first and work it into your meal plan this week!
    3. Clear clutter from shelves and wipe them over.. I want to see empty spaces and shiny shelves!!
    [/STRIKE]

    Plus:

    Cleaned the utility room floor
Cleaned the top of the chest freezer, where DH has been cleaning shoes and leaving polish all over!
2 loads of washing, done and hung out
Bins put out .. the night before bin day (a miracle in it's own right!)
    Basil seeds finally sown

It is really odd how much else there is to do.. we do all sorts of strange things.. DIY, Laundry, he goes running and to the gym, I knit and sew.. it is like the dark ages in here lol None of the children have ever asked if we could have one either, apart from DS3 who asked a few weeks ago.. now he has a handful of new books he has forgotten about it.

My wrist is killing me today, it has been strapped up since yesterday morning.. but my splint is starting to get a bit niffy and I can't find my spare.. wonder if I coukld find the blue bandage.. that does for short periods..

I've another 2 or 3 loads of washing and I'caught up.. folding it is nigh on imposible though and not doing my wrist any good at all.

hubby came home at lunchtime and put the mirror up in the loo.. one less job.. I am having him do the curtain track in here tonight though. it is freezing without the curtains up.

poohbear think your sons should come under the DD guarantee, get him to check all DDs incase there are others he hasn't deleted. I did DPs and he had loads of ones we haven't used for years.
One day I might be more organised...........

Still need to [STRIKE]light the fire, more washing, homeworks,[/STRIKE] sell tickets for DD, leave sister down to mum's to get her car, clean inside and outside of car.

Gonna put dinner on now and OH is going to clean the car when i get back from mum's.

    Tonight need to
    • sort uniforms for tomorrow and P.E kits.
    • sort clothes for playgroup and course.
    • bring in more sticks.
    • clear livingroom and hoover (sky man calling out tomorrow with sky+box)
    • make bread.
    • do dishes.
    • level 2 kitchen list.
    • bath and bed early.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Hence I don't OWN a tv!!!

We've had long periods of our married life where we had no tv, and it was far better than having a tv. I'd happily get rid of ours. We don't watch much at all, and it's taking up vital space in the corner of the living room - we could easily squeeze another bookcase in there :rotfl: DH doesn't want to get rid though.

Mind you, we've never had to actually buy a tv - we've been given other people's cast-offs otherwise we still wouldn't have one.

Right, must go and organise dinner for the children and finish off cleaning the kitchen while I'm at it, then I'm ready for tomorrow's flying challenge.
