hubby finally arrived home just in time to put everyone in their nests.. i completely forgot about DS2's OT appointment today so have rescheduled that for next Tuesday.. but I have to let them know at college I won't be there and also cancel my governor training thing.. I decided I can do that any time but DS2's appointment is of utmost importance so I'm going there instead.

Evening ladies.
I'm back and hanging my head in shame , I have hardly done any flying for about a fortnight, just level 2 a couple of times last week. I'm just too knackered working fulltime Mon - Fri and now going in on Sunday afternoons as well. I can write my name in the dust on the stairs and there are doogie fluffballs all up the hallway. I have however had a lovely weekend with OH at home for a change so we went out for the day on Saturday, shopping first then lovely late lunch at a quaint little pub we found on OH's sat nav.
I am way out of touch with what you have all been up to, so please accept my apologies and offers of hugs where required.
Have scanned this weeks thread and give a massive hug to johanne :grouphug: for her troubles. I can relate to them, my late mother inlaw was fine with me until I became pregnant then turned nasty on me. She was so nasty to me and reduced me to tears when I was 6 months preg that OH took me home and I never saw her again for 7 years until I saw her in hospital after she had a stroke. I dont know if she was peed off that she no longer had him to herself as he was an only child (altho she hadnt been previously bothered by his 3 exwives altho they hadnt had children! perhaps just the thought of his child becoming his number 1 rather than her?) Anyway in 7 years she never once acknowledged our daughter (or me) in a christmas or birthday card even tho OH tried taking DD over when she was small, and in her will she left her rings to OH's ex girlfriend who he went out with when he was 17 and she'd stayed in contact with !!!!!! The only way i could deal with it was to just accept that sometimes people do funny things and she was one of them.
And as for how she put your name in the paper, we all do daft things. When I ordered Nanny's wreath which was from my brothers and myself and our families, I forgot to add MY other half (of 11 years) and my brothers wife of 14 years. Luckily they all laughed about it.
Well I guess I should do something now, I have the clear tea things away in the kitchen but my lazy assed kids arent doing their jobs so I'll have to empty the dishwasher myself first and I so hate that job, then I might do an hours ironing and bog all else, oh apart from uniforms and pack ups.
Passes some parrots to pigpen before I go ..... and I'd love to be a fly on the wall at school tomorrow :rotfl:
Oh and forgot to say hi to the new peeps as I noticed a couple of names I hadnt seen before :hello:Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Johanne ignore the daft bat and do things as you want. Don't let her put you under any more stress than you need to be under - as for demanding you don't have the baby before Friday, she's lucky you haven't had it already with the stress. I know she will be upset at losing her husband, but surely the priority now has got to be you and the baby and making sure the arrival is a safe one.
Right, lets see where i got - (included tomorrow's list too as i know some of it will have been done.)

Its a looong time since I was in the ortho department and lots of improvements since then, think it would be dependant on the type of fixatorsorry cant be of more help.
Ok so far I have reloaded dishwasher and made sandwiches for tomorrow. DS emptied DW and has swept the floors downstairs.
Now a new series of waking the dead has started and I'm going to watch that instead of ironing.

johanne - have pm'ed you...
Hi to the newbies especially rusty flange and master rusty, who I remember as that is such a great name!
I have been garden working today - shifting loads of compost and soil on a new veg plot - filling up the raised beds...and I can hardly move this evening. No flying done, as way too tired when I got home. I did however spend a couple of hours supervising DS1 doing his coursework.
I'll try and fly tomorrow...It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0
