Pigpen i'd be fuming too at the school making him do that:mad:0
-
pigpen - sorry I think I would be insisting he is shown exactly what that feels like. Take his shoes and see how quick he can run across the yard. Bloomin' moron!
Mudbath, think I'd be tempted to fast regardless as those type of things can make you feel ill, will be thinking of you at your appointment and hoping it's as painless as possible!
vivw don't be so hard on yourself, you're not mean't to be superwoman!
Oh heck DS1s ill, he went to bed (not like him) at about 4pm and slept for an hour, got up, refused food and just laid there (definately not like him) I made him have some toast (not that he ate much of it) then back to bed at 8.30pm. I snook back to bed while he slept and left DS2 with DP, needed that. Started studying again when I got up. We looked through and DP needs 10 marks out of the 38 left to fight for (2 part assignment), I need 5 because I kicked his bum on the last assignment :rotfl: woohooo! I am hoping in what we've just done now we'll achieve those so any more would be a bonus as it goes on average marks over the year.
Right, should get back to studying I suppose, see if we can get some more finished as we have to send it tomorrow if we're posting it (needs to be there by Wednesday), I can see us hand delivering this one:rotfl: nothing new there!
One day I might be more organised...........

Hello,
Johanne - hang in there, MIL are odd and she is probably scared and her response to that is to be a controlling nightmare. I think its a lovely idea to celebrate your FIL just the three of you. Good plan, much more meaningful then some one's else control freakery. Take carexx
Today I have,
1. cleaned fish tank
2. hoovered
3. sorted four boxes from the loft
4. sorted four boxes from my room
5. dusted (well hoovered) my shelves and gone through books and stuff on there
6. Recycled magazines.
7. cleared a space for me to have a dressing table area
8. organised my 6 boxes of Ebay stuff in type/price
9. sorted my in/out tray (how naff does that sound!)
10. cleaned desk
11. made space for OU books (as opposed to having them in a bag)
12. tidied on top of my wardrobe.
13. made lunch for mum and I
14. got one bag of stuff for the charity shop.
15. plus one bag of recycling and one bag of rubbish.
I am very tired, but just got to feed the rats etc and then fall into bed.
tomorrow i must go in to work and finish my marking and bring home some projects I had "forgotten" about.
I should feel pleased with myself, but I just feel like its never going to end. Reading Viv's post reminded me of what being back at work will feel like. work all day and then work all night. There must be a better way.
any way must go to bed now have a good day tomorrow ladies

RANT ALERT!!
Bums, bums and furry bottoms! We've just found another questionwhen I reordered the papers I must have muddled them (had to print out the assignments ourselves) which is why the marks didn't add up to 100, we thought there was something wrong. Anyway that means we both need a few more marks each to get the 40% and we have a massive question left to do, just looking at it is scaring me, bah! Hence I am still here, having 5 minutes off from numbers before I try to complete the other 2 so there is just the big one left, to do, tomorrow! Eeeeek! So if I am not around tomorrow I've either given up and left the country or burried in my assignment. I thought it was being a little too easy having less marks to get than we expected. **Note to self to print in reverse order next time**
Right, I needed a rant/moan/winge on so please forgive me, I hope you all have a lovely day and I will see you when this is finished **strops off**One day I might be more organised...........

Morning all
Lil-me - hugs - just focus on the studies
I'm tired this morning. And feel I want some time off. Thought next week might be a good idea - this current project I'm working on was supposed to finish this week. Emailed my team lead to suggest it and it seems there's a hiccough and the project is not likely to be ready to complete until next week. Now, I could do the dirty and say stuff it, I'm taking next week off, or I could be professional and say I'll take the rest of this week and next Monday off so I can finish the project off instead of handing it over to someone else who has less experience.
I shall discuss it with my team lead this morning at work.
 ORF ops - buster is awake (at least he was five minutes ago!) and you have mail
Have a good day ladies. I won't be doing much flying this evening - I have the physio after work and then about half an hour at home before I go to a community meeting straight after work and don't know what time i'll be back.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Morning lovelies. I'm up, and have eaten breakie and fed the cat. DH is being a twinkle and fed the cat, so in return i have made his packed lunch and have just got some sausages out for dinner.
I'm still quite achey so i am not rushing around too much today - no bending down jobs i think.
mudbath control your excitement.I bet you will be so relieved today.
buffy i know exactly what you mean about life work balance. I often think there has got to be more to life than the endless treadmill of being a teacher. I am still thinking about it and i haven't been there for nearly 4 weeks of maternity leave now. Probably because i still have schemes of work i am supposed to be handing in. If you find a solution, share your secrets. I am just going for 'do it now' i.e. i know i really don't want to do it, but if i just start, it might just then get done. Works well with the small things, but i can't motivate myself to mark. In the hols i go for - mark these books and then you can meet your friend for lunch.
