:j Just sold another book on amazon. Total so far 12 pounds:rotfl: ok i'm not a millionaire yet. Think this week i'll get the ebay stuff on, hopefully something will sell because i have such bad luck with it but the [STRIKE]crap[/STRIKE] stuff needs to go.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.

Pea Soup - Bring to boil 2 pints chicken or veg stock in a large pan, add 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped garlic clove, 2 lb frozen peas and a sprig of fresh mint. Cook for 10 mins till onion is soft. Remove mint, cool for a bit and then put the soup in a blender. Re-heat to serve.

Carrot and coriander - cook a chopped onion in a little oil for 10 mins. Add 2 chopped cloves of garlic, cook for 5 mins. Add teasppon coriander, 1lb 8oz chopped carrots, and 1 litre veg or chicken stock. Simmer for 20 mins, cool and blend. Re-heat to serve.

Both make me feel like I am eating baby food, but they are at least low cal/low fat and cheap compared to the ready made cartons.

Mudbath - you don't fancy coming and doing mine do you? Only been partly self employed since Jan so only a few months to do?

Lil-me - glad you found him quickly. So scary when that happens.

My kitten has come into season for the first time (the one in the binbag picture for anyone who remembers). Poor girl is currently being stalked by a ginger tom and a black tom who belong to my neighbours, and both our neutered male cats are getting very upset by the invasion of the garden. Must ring the vets tomorrow and get her booked in - although I am very tempted by the thought of ginger kittens.

Dogs are malting, and I am really bored of cleaning up hair. Dyson is jammed full of it. Can't clean out the chickens as it is raining. Must clean out the fish too - still green despite new filter. Sometimes really regret having 4 chickens, 3 cats, 2 dogs and 2 goldfish that no-one else bothers feeding or cleaning up after.

Mudbath.. it isn't boring.. it is actually refreshing to see you doing something useful.. :p!!

Oi...i've excelled myself these last few weeks:rotfl: .

I'm on to January now so i've only got two months left because I didn't work through March :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: . Broken wrists are a blessing.

Hex - no, no and no again. :rotfl: I hate accounts and this is the first year after 11 years of being self employed that a) i've been organised through the year so all receipts etc are where they should be and b) i've done my accounts so early. Normally I wait until the end of the year. Mind you there is method in my madness as I want my accountant to sign my passport photo :D .

    Ok, January to start xx

Hiya  hugs to Polly, Boddy and michelle and anyone wanting one for free.

I've been at work 8-2 today and still had some momentum so I've done the livingroom and my bedroom and the hall. Still got the bathroom to do and the ironing of course but I'm going to need a kick or a HHC. I don't know if I'll be in for next week's list, maybe Thursday onwards and am kidding myself I'm getting ahead when really I'm about 2 weeks behind but hey, it always needs doing!
Lil_me, hope the boys are back (big and small) and you've got over the scare of DS running off.
Boddy, I'm trying not to have chocolate for 4 weeks, I was up to 2 bars a day and am sure its partly to blame for psoriasis flare up. I'd like to get to the point where I don't fancy it any more. If you're ever short of victims to practice on I'm in the same county.

    Kick or HHC anyone?? Please?

    :hello: Afternoon All

Hugs Michelle (((0))), OH in is last job was a softie, he worked from home many a night free of charge as he was mentoring in the day. He was a senior engineer supposed to do 9 to 5 but they treat him like he had a 40 hour day. Anyways he has now left and is earning more money on the 26 week contract than he would have done in a year at that place plus no office politics as he is a contractor:D :rotfl: :D . I told him to start being a senior and delegating more to the non seniors, they were more than qualified to start mentoring some of the juniors. When he did this it went well for a while but they want to keep all the knowledge to themselves:rolleyes: muppets. So he left.

Mudbath shame you live so far away......could have doen with it!!!
    Pollybear Cheese on toast mmmmmmm
Vanilla hope your little one gets better soon, is it the trots and sickness. And how old is your lo. When my ds got this i was advised of alsorts and in the end the doctor told me to get Koaline from the chemist, he was almost back to himself within a day after having the trots for a week. It broke my heart as everytime it happened he screamed, his backside was as red as a japanese sunset
Johanne How you doing missus, is your bubs gonna come soon?
Pigpen hope it goes well with your rabbits, i had a labrador from the RSPCA 7 years ago when i got him he seemed fine then a few weeks later he started fitting then he couldn't walk properly looked like he was skipping. Turned out the whole litter was like it. I had to have him put down. I was advised as i had been sold a defective dog i could have another free, !!!!!! its not a toaster my dd was heartbroken.
You can touch the dust but please don't write in it !

Would you like to speak to the man in charge, or the woman who knows whats happening?

I've already had one slice and finished off my DS s piece.
But it looks so lonely there all on it's own:rolleyes:

Chunky DS1 just being sick, nothing staying down not even water. DS2 is sleeping now which is not like him so i think he may take it to but he has had a very sore bum all week with the trots.

Chunky the RSPCA does a great trade in dogs here.. they all have parvo!!! Very few survive the first few weeks out of there.. disgusting really.. I hate the RSPCA!!

Hex.. if you have ginger kittens I'll have 2.. or grey ones.. or uniquely marked ones!! I love puss cats.. and bunnies!!

Best get next weeks list up and go feed the marauding horde..

DD1 having a crash course in washing machine usage.. I told her to put her uniform in the wash on Friday.. and about 5 times yesterday and asked her to bring me it while I was loading the machines earlier and she never did it.. so now she is panicking and having to wash it herself.. I love being mean!

thanks guys for the hugs. I'm a lot more relaxed now after the bath and rubbing peppermint invigorating cream into my legs. Glad to hear i don't sound unreasonable.

another one who needs to lay off the sweet stuff i think. I think my mood is being affected by my blood sugar.

mudbath well done on sorting those accounts. Just think, with all this decluttering and the accounts done, there will be nothing left to do soon. What a luxury.

hex glad to hear you are feeling a bit better. It takes a while to regain full capacity though doesn't it.

lil-me must have been scary having DS missing. I bet he didn't even realise he was missing did he?

mmmm pea soup. Lovely. Right, think i need to organise a bath time.

    Michelle, x
