hhmmm.. pink.. lol.. It looks really nice.. and the price doesn't look too horrific.. mind you we got a 5 bedroomed heap for not much more (£93k.. was on the market at £83k 3 years ago)

Double extension to the side and a rear kitchen double extension.. you could make it a 4 or 5 bed 2 bathroomed 2 rec. room house.. (I watch property ladder too!!)

Very busy day - but unfortunately, none of it was flying...

Supervised DS1's coursework until coffee, then whizzed downtown with DS2 who has outgrown his school trousers. He's 13, and we had to buy a pair from the menswear dept:eek:in M&S as the largest children's size is too big around the waist and too short in the leg.

After lunch, I had a lovely couple of hours on the allotment. They have had some more woodchips delivered, hurrah, so I put several barrow loads over the raspberry bed, and then cleared the middle fruit bed, so that can be woodchipped next time - maybe tomorrow if I'm lucky. The fruit area has been overgrown for the last three years for one reason and another, and it is going to save me so much work if I can keep it covered with woodchips.

I've been worrying all day about DD. She sent me a text at 5am to say they were on a 7 hour coach trip, and she felt really unwell - funny tummy unwell, just what you want on a coach. She said she just wanted to come home. I texted back when I read the message about seven, but haven't heard a thing all day. I'm hoping that she is in an area that has no signal. or her phone battery has gone flat...She travels home on Thursday.

Hugs to all those who need one today, and huge congratulations to Mudbath on having the cast removed. Just shop online in future!

I'm thinking about moving too. I probably wont do anything about it as I cant be bothered selling this house. I like it where I am, but this is in the same street as my aunt and the houses dont come up that often. I haven't been to view it, but I think the rooms are small and of course, I'd need to stick on an extension :rotfl:

Mudbath - glad you've got your cast off at last.

Tia - I'm sure the house would suit you down to the ground.

Tia - it looks fab!!! And its a corner site, so presumably you'd be able to stick on a 2 storey extension? Sorry, getting carried away, its just thats what one of Mums neighbours are doing with a very similiar property ;)

Oh see I hadn't thought that far ahead....

    But yes!

Drive right up the side and a garage (though a bit shabby) at the end. So in a few years (when I totally have my HNC in Bio-something (not decided yet) and making my 25k a year) double story extension to extend my kitchen and a bathroom added upstairs.

Or, as my neighbour has done... Conservetory onto the kitchen and small en suite shower and loo in the big bedroom. It's the exact same layout. Must nosey as to how much that cost.

As pigpen said IF I had the money.... *dreams* I should not be this excited.

I haven't done any flying. Dinner came from the chippy and I barely had the energy to wash up. I left the house at 7:30am this morning for work with DDs aged 5 and 8 and returned home at 8:10pm having gone straight from working to chairing a PTA meeting. They are both exhausted and I'm feeling like the worlds worst parent.

Rant over. At least we're all healthy and now I have a job (but no life) the finances will be a little easier, mostly because I'm too knackered to spend anything and home too late to bother lighting the fire.

Hugs to those that need. I'm going to crawl into my pit accompanied by a crisp chardonnay and hope I stay awake long enough to drink some of it.

    Mudbath - glad it's off!
I'm loving looking at the houses for sale. Interesting to make comparisons!

I think I'll just check back during the day and put down what I HAVE done, not what I should be doing! This stage of the week seems to be like that for me.
    • It's still raining, so am swapping laundry between clothes airer and drier to finish it off. As long as I keep it constant, it shouldn't become a problem.
    • Breakfast is had, and I'm aiming at getting to work early today as I want to finish early, too.
    • OH is out walking mutts as I type. Not looking good for work for him today, either.
    • DW will be started before I leave for work.
    • Dinner - must get something out from freezer.
    • Get boys out of bed and sorted for school.
Right - that's me. See ya.
