More Trojans

Hi

I wondered if someone can help me. I have loads of spyware/viruses etc after my teenage son has been using limewire. Obviously Limewire has now gone :rolleyes: but I am struggling to clean everything up. I have read a lot of the threads on here and tried the following a number of times

superantispyware
ccleaner
spybot
registry mechanic

But this hasn't removed everything - for instance I am now the proud owner of a lovely screensaver of cockroaches eating holes in my screen!!

Can anyone suggest next steps. I have also tried hijackthis but I am unsure what to remove from the list. If it helps I can post this.

Thanks

Karen

    Thanks - I will try the things you guys have suggested and then see where that takes me - might as well post the hijack this list after I am done.

    I know Limewire isn't spyware - but god knows what he has d/l from it. So I have removed it to stop any further issue.

    Will post my list shortly

    Shove Linux on it - that'll stop the kid.

    I have actually got a copy of Linux Ubuntu but someone warned me off it - said it would be hassle.

    Anyway I have done everything as suggested. Here are the logs from SAS and Hijackthis. Let me know what additional things I should do

    Thankyou

    Next, download the following to the Desktop:
    VundoFix.exe
    * Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it
    * Click: Scan for Vundo
    * Once done scanning, click: Remove Vundo
    * A prompt asking if you want to remove the files appears, click: Yes
    * The Desktop goes blank as it starts removing Vundo.
    * When completed, a prompt to shutdown the computer appears, click OK
    * Turn the computer back on.

    A log is created and found in C:\vundofix.txt
