I entered 100 NPN txt's over a 15 minute period early yesterday morning and got 56 replies.
I phoned their helpline yesterday evening and they took my details and called me back. They confirmed I'd entered 100 TXT's over the period I claimed but couldn't explain why I'd only recieved 56 replies. They did however confirm that I hadn't won anything. Like I hadn't guessed :rotfl:
Once again, like the gambling fool I am, I entered another 100 NPN txt's again over 15 mins early this monring. This time I only got 50 replies.
There system really sucks.
I've bugeted £40 for this competition and my texts only cost 6p so I'll keep on trying. I know it could have been £40 towards a iPod Nano, but TBH I want to WIN one not BUY one. Just like when you go to the Casino, you enter expecting to loose, but hoping to win.

Yes, they have done the same to my girlfriend as mentioned earlier. 85p a text. She has called them severla times and they refuse to take any notice of her.
3 are a disgrace. Does she need to complain to Oftel or Walkers or?0 -
Or maybe it is a confusing bill and it is 8.5p before VAT.0

off topic but with the amount ppl are spending on walkers have they considered trying to get it for "free" on that ipod site? I have, and they are now sending me the new ipod nano which replaces the old mini.0

Hi,
0.085p is 8.5p per text + vat = 10p!!!To win a competition gives you the spirit to carry on (Comping).0 -
FINALY :j :j :j :j :jCongratulations you won an iPod mini at 04:36 on 23 Sep. We'll call on this no by noon today to take your details. Please note your winning code BB********
Method used - 250 NPN codes  , sent in blocks of 30-40 from 4:05am
Looks like I won on the last block sent... Phew!!
TXt's were sent via my Mobile phone management software (FloAt's Agent) on PC, connected to Sony Ericsson via DCU-11 cable.
All codes were prepared, by copy & pasting from email into draft TxT's. Then at allocated time slot, 30 or 40 were selected and sent.
I'm fortunate my TXT's are only 6p each (company contract phone) so total cost of competition has £27-ish in TXT's and £10 in Crisps.
That's me done with this competition now - Think it's time I sought councilling :rotfl:
Good luck to you all

Congrats W1zz, you gonna keep it? Funny you sent 250 NPN codes, we had to send 240 NPN Codes before we got lucky. It arrived yesterday, the bloody jiffy bag was half open like someone has already had a sneeky peak. After a 4hr charge it's going like a dream.
Walkers really are laughing all the way to the bank with this promo. That said we've got 2x 24 multipacks in the cupboard. Dunno if we'll have another last attempt this weekend. Or just submit them into the daily draws. Good job you don't have to eat the packets to get to the codes on the multipack ones as they're on the outside. I'd be the size of a house by now.
I have noticed its easier to send the texts than to set up the online codes and risk losing the connection.:idea:I got an idea, an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about:idea:0
