I've just tried again and it worked for me this time (the ICICI site was very very slow though). Thanks to those that responded.0

Messed it up! I think....
So had to message them on a special kind of 'secureto message form' to send a new password by mail.
Please, on the message form, what do you think is the difference between
Registered E-mail ID *
(Email id on which you receive statements)
and
Email ID *
As you can see, both the fields marked * are mandatory fields.
PS. Please be gentle and remember 'There's no such thing as a daft question'.0 -

You could, as I do, have multiple e-mail addresses, so the 'Registered' address may be different from the one which you normally use to send/receive e-mails.
For example, I usually use the name of the company/bank/forum, etc., with which I register, plus the suffix of my 'catch-all' account, so that if any 'spam' is received from that address, I know the source from which the address has been gleaned - e.g. my registered address for this forum could be something like "moneysavingforum@mycatchalladdress.co.uk", whereas I use different addresses from which to send/receive all other e-mails.
If you only use one e-mail address (the 'Registered' one), just put that in both boxes.0
