Lloyds TSB drop 6.5% ISA offer

Options
As the title says, LloydsTSB has today withdrawn its 6.5% ISA. I went in today to transfer in from another provider only to find the best they could offer me was 5%.

I'm not sure what you mean by the above.
It may show that it still offers 6.5% but that appears not to be up to date.

I can't apply online either as I'm not already an account holder with them.

If you went in today the 6.5% offer was still valid.

(Possibly just through the branch channel - and online and telephone applications will continue?)

The 6.5% applies if you have £9,000 - but you only get 5% on £ 3,000. So it's obviously for people transferring several years' worth.

does anyone know what happens if you have already opened an isa and are waiting for funds to be transfered in.
i opened my account 2 weeks ago but they say it can take upto 30 days to transfer money from another isa provider.
will they still honour the 6.5% ?

Those rates are taken from the website and the fixed rate ISA will be available until 31 May.
