Lloyds TSB drop 6.5% ISA offer

I opened these last month by transferring money in from another ISA and was going to pop in this morning to put this year's 3,600 in - but it looks like I cannot do that now?
I'm in same situation and as far as I know you can top the ISA up to the £3600 limit at any point up until Apr 5th 2009 - the key thing that matters is that you've already applied and been accepted for the product - regardless of whether you've had a chance to transfer in previous year(s) ISAs or top up this year's allowance yet or not.
To 'soft confirm' this I've just had a quick look via Lloyds online banking service, gone to 'transfers and payments' for my main current account and verified that the fixed rate ISA (current balance is zero) is available for me to transfer funds into and yes it is. So presumably once I have the funds available to top up the ISA I'll be able to do it - either from the lloyds current account or just via BACS from another account.0 -
Thanks munkThis is not financial nor legal nor property advice. Consult a paid professional if in doubt.0

What made you think otherwise?
It is people who did not open one before last Fri/Sat that cannot open one now.0 -

A technical problem meaning staff have to use a route round using the counter system before credits are accepted for this tax year.
I don't think telephone or internet bank have this way round the problem.0
