Any particular reason, or do you generally feel this way towards people?

They are FTB, so a bit naive as to the process of buying and selling.
They have served notice on their rented flat (they deny this, but we don't believe them) without consulting us, then began using threatening language, with our EA, first over the phone and now in writing.
In the end it is all working out OK, but not without us getting very annoyed, frustrated and seriously considering telling them to shove it. Their whole conduct is making this sale so much more stressful and hard work, and making me very unhappy wishing them painful and prolonged death
Sadly, all pretty normal - so don't take it personally. We experienced the same thing ourselves...the poor old soliciors take the brunt of it.:rolleyes:0 -
What are they threatening the EA with? and or why?
Personally If I have any abusive phone calls etc at work, I just hang up. Maybe your EA should do the same.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100/100miles

We said, before they even offered, we will consider moving to rented as have not found our next property to buy. They have jumped into conclusion and have handed their notice on flat.
They then accused us of delaying the sale, because we have not yet found a rental for us (we have a dog, so not easy).
They threatened to pull out, have given us ultimatums etc. Hence, I hate them .0 -
Conversely Stevie, you have a buyer who is paying you a sum I presume you're happy with?
Don't look a gift horse in the mouth - it could be worse.anger, denial, acceptance

Our buyers were repellent and we absolutely loathed them. They came in with a slightly higher offer than the lovely young family who lived 2 doors down. Personally I wanted to take the hit as the young family would have absolutely loved the house and looked after it, but the agent turned down the young family without telling me then bullied me into taking the higher offer.
As soon as we moved out our solicitor and the agent started receiving complaints from these idiots. Including - bizarrely, that I'd left the almost new tv in the living room. Didnt need it, didnt want to throw it away, thought they might like it.
9 months later we get a summons from the gas board demanding we pay 6 months of gas from AFTER we moved out. Turns out mr and mrs scumbag had refused to let anyone in to read the meter then when someone finally did they attributed most of the usage to us.
The gasboard had kept no record of our final meter reading beforedisconnection. Hadnt bothered to take one at reconnection and it was ONLY because I had kept the previous bill that we didnt have to pay. I was absolutely fuming.0 -

As an aside, (though I think you're right not to be rushed) we found a rental by asking landlords if they'd be willing to consider allowing pets. Our current landlord wasn't keen, but agreed to meet us and dog (we have a cat too, even more of a problem
). He was then OK as dog is quiet and well trained, in the end we had aa choice of lettings. Often 'no pets' seems to be a blanket rule. Anytime;)0 -
They are obnoxious grrrrrr
Rant over
I thought this site was supposed to be about consumer revenge? When it comes to the buying and selling of houses, surely the buyer is the consumer?
