    That was short.

Any particular reason, or do you generally feel this way towards people?

They are FTB, so a bit naive as to the process of buying and selling.
They have served notice on their rented flat (they deny this, but we don't believe them) without consulting us, then began using threatening language, with our EA, first over the phone and now in writing.

In the end it is all working out OK, but not without us getting very annoyed, frustrated and seriously considering telling them to shove it. Their whole conduct is making this sale so much more stressful and hard work, and making me very unhappy wishing them painful and prolonged death ;)

Awww, calm down Stevie - it's stressful for everyone, but imagining up conflicts won't make it easier for any of you

My sellers were very inexperienced (bought from the council 25 years ago), and they kept phoning the EA every 3 days saying, "if she doesn't complete by this Friday, we're pulling out!". I'd only made the offer 1 week previously :rotfl:.

You just have to tut, do a little rant on an anonymous forum to get it off your chest, then open a beer and put your feet up .

I think a lot of vendors hate their buyers - I don't know why this is. We bought our house a long time ago, but I think the vendors thought we were taking them for a ride (because we knocked them down on their asking price) and were clearly really angry with us. They cut off all the light fittings so that when it got dark - hey presto - no lights. They cut the aerial socket off the telly lead too.

It didn't matter as it was August and we carried on living at our parents for 3 months after we bought the house whilst we did it up, but it was a bit "sour grapes". It also meant that we threw any letters they received straight in the bin. Two can play silly !!!!!!s.

I'm going to need a magnum of champagne after these two :rotfl:

Sadly, I am not imagining up conflicts. Not when I get a phone call every other day from my EA with their latest threat. Some people, eh?

By the way, I am in no way suggesting that you cut off the light fittings!
