ok update time, took her to vets today for check up as she doesnt seem herself and vet said she cant feel anything but def bloated/fat said its possible she could of absorbed the kittens back into her body up to a certain number of weeks either that or was never pregnant but she is going in on fri for an investigation then speying so sadly for me no kitties but i suppose its for the best, less unwanted cats in the world. feel really sad now actually and a bit p***** off

Sorry to here that, thats disappointing. I've the opposite problem, I'm going to have to get this cat spayed right after nursing. She been pregnant twice before and lost the kittens. :(

ah bless her, we have truly booked in for speying tomorrow morning now, just hope she isnt gonna get to stressed as she still runs from strangers, i now have three family members that want kittens and i have none (not anywhere near romford are you lol)

glad they are doing well though this time around, seeing as she is a stray i know the cat protection society are offerin free nuetering at the moment you have to ring them and ask for a voucher to be sent to your vets, (sorry not that im implying your struggling but some one might find it useful). hope all goes well and good luck. x

Thanks for the tip about the free neutering MirrorImage, I really appreciate it. I'm in Ireland I was quoted €75 (about £60) for the op. I don't want to spend that much, especially since there's a chance she may just disappear altogether. There's a similar scheme here for low cost neutering so I'll probably use that. I hope your cat's operation went well.

Sorry I don't live near Romford, if I did I'd love to give you and your family these kittens. They are super cute and completely adorable. Lots of neighbours have been asking, so thankfully, I think they'll find good homes. I'll post a link to some pics before they go.

truly is fine after the op yesterday just looking a bit put out as to where a large patch of her fur has gone, but she will be excited when she is allowed out the vet said about ten days. so all back to a sane household (well as sane as you can get with the kids here lol)
