  • I ordered 2x age 1-5, as have 2 young boys. I live o/s, so mum opened the parcel and there were 5 the same. Not too bothered as she says the selections good otherwise and these can be given to my little nephew.

I emailed book people just to find out why so many the same and they said the orders are already picked and packed, so they have no control over duplicates. Still a great bargain for £13.50 :T
  • mine came today .. the 1-5 selection was excellent but the 10+ i wasnt impressed with to be honest.. i would have thought they were more suited for 5-8. Still.. no sticker books and no duplicates so cannot complain .. just 2 2005 annuals. thanks to OP
  • I've ordered 2 sets of the 1-5 books for our 1 yr old and can't wait for them to arrive now!! She loves her books and hopefully these will be a nice selection and will last her for a while!!! :)
  • My books arrived yesterday.

I ordered 1 set of age 1-5, and another aged 6-9. Both packs were very good value, particularly the 1-5 pack. Most noticeably it had a large, soft, half-moon shaped book which plays music (a cot toy almost), and lovely pull the flap book, which starts as black and white images but amazingly become coloured when you pull the flaps. My 4 year-old was impressed with that one!

Lots of other worthwhile books in the packs - Disney pixar 2005 album, Tweenies 2005 album etc. No colouring books thankfully!

I have been quite disappointed with the offer. I ordered 2 sets of 1-5 books and 9 of the books are duplicates. I probably shouldn't claim but I was under the impression that there might be a bit more variety. I would be very happy with sticker books etc. Is it wothwhile complaining do you think?

I think ours came from the same pallet as I got these too. The yellow moon book is fantastic. It has fabric pages.
