Personally I wasn't that impressed with my lucky dip, only one of the books was pictured in the advert, has anyone else found the same or was I just unlucky that time?
Are they worth selling on eBay/Amazon?

Argh............ my son is 8 and I'm torn between getting 2 lots of the age 6-9 or one of them and a 10+
Can anyone give me any idea of what sort of books they are? He will hate babyish ones (if they're more geared to 6 year olds) but of course he can't handle teenage content yet.

I have a 7 yr old and a 9yr old and am going for one of each - my view is that they will keep, but the kids won't want the younger ones. I have a box put aside for gifts so any that are too old will go in there for a year or two.0

Just rang them (using the geographical number of course
) and the CA said they've had complaints of the 10+ being too old (why? It obviously includes teenage in it!) and the 1-5 being too young, but the 6-9 should be fine.
Having said that, son just said "don't get me books. They're all boring and crap" so I give up
Was going to try and get him interested in reading. Don't know whether to go for it or not now, as I don't sell on ebay or amazon and don't really want to waste 15 quid :mad:0 -
