I am in ongoing "talks" by e-mail with Orange regarding their refusal to treat existing customers in the same way they treat new customers regarding the extra evening talk time. It is like hitting your head against a brick wall. Why should we existing customers have to pay 20% extra for this service when the newies get it for free?
This is what I am getting - "Orange, in line with other mobile companies, makes offers from time to time to attract new customers. I am sorry these offers are not available to existing customers" and "We are able to confirm that as an existing customer as long as you are subscribing to a Orange your plan tariff you will be eligible to subscribe to the evening minutes promotion. New connection customers will get the bundle for no monthly fee, but existing customers will have to pay a 20 per cent charge of there existing talkplan rate per month." (You would also think they would know the difference between there and their!!)
