I have been a customer of Orange since they first started. I subscribe to Talk Time 200 @ £30 incl. per month. Just recentlly, their TV advertising promotes, subscribe to Orange Talk Time, like I do, and receive free talk after 8pm for life. So, I thought I would have some of that, knowing I have supported them from inception, I must qualify. Oh no, sorry, only for new customers. But hang on, they are paying the same as me, but because they are new, they get the perks, but not me. Lets get enough support, and tackle Orange head on, surley this is not fair trading.

Coincidentally I went down the same route as Doormanpgd yesterday, and was advised the same thing - the newies get the goods, but the long term customers don't.
I made my displeasure known!!0 -

Ive said it before on this forum and I'll say it again - Orange have gone downhill fast. Like you, I was one of the first people to join orange and I made my family and friends join - however, the way they are treating its long standing customers is disgusting.
For anyone thinking about replying with "Ive never had a issue- Orange are great.." - wait till you want something off them and then you will see their true colours!
I will be leaving the moment my contract expires.Bismillah0 -
Orange wanted £20 so I could insert my T-mob SIM to copy the phonebook. New customer - appalling attitude.
Only took 5 mins to find a free-unlock service online.illegitimi non carborundum0 -
I was with Orange till August, for about 5 years. I had a Planahead tariff - £79 up front for 15 months, 30 mins call time.
In July they wrote to say they would be ending that deal and putting me on a new 30 mins/ month deal - at £15/ month, an increase of nearly 300%!!
I rang to say that's unacceptable, scandalous and was offered a new X70 phone, with 120 mins/ 30 texts for £15. OK I said. As I was about to go off on hol, they said to ring them and arrange delivery on my return. When I did so two weeks later, they told me they'd withdrawn that deal, and would only offer me the original unacceptable deal I'd rejected.
I told them to forget it and took up the BT/e2save deal I read about on here.
They have now invoiced me for £15 as I should have given them one month's notice. I have no intention of paying, because I never agreed to the monthly deal at all - just the Planahead tariff. They mucked me about and lost my custom because of that, and I don't think I owe them anything.
Does anyone know what will happen now? I have written to them explaining why I won't be paying.0 -

Carefull as it could affect your furture credit rating, it is normal to give one months notice and they will chase you for it, it may be worth the £15 to get shot of them, i had to pay £46 to get out of mine even though they were constantly over charging me and generally mucking me about.
It haS been known to be blacklisted over such a problemThe more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
