"Happy go Lucky" - It was one of the worst films I have ever sat through.

Went to see Happy Go Lucky last night, we enjoyed the film, although was a bit bemused by it.

Can anyone explain the bit in the middle where she went to see the old tramp! Was waiting for an explaination, but none came???

    Anyhow... 6.5/10

    Thanks

    Sarah:D

LOL I mentioned that on FMUK one minute she was in a park in daylight the next she was in a wasteland in the dark chatting to a homeless man!! completely random!! :rotfl:
BTW anyone that hasn't seen it I don't think it's a spoiler as it's this separate thing that just happens. :)
  • Yippee - My daughter will be so pleased because I got tickets for "Forgetting Sarah Marshall". She has wanted to see this ever since we were in New York earlier this year and all the buses, taxis and billboards were covered with "I Hate Sarah Marshall". She even went on the internet to look up the site!!!

May be I will be cruel and not tell her til the day!!!!!

I for one loved happy go Lucky. A very "Mike Leigh" movie. And would be very happy to see it again!

It seems to be a film you either loved or hated..at least it provokes a reaction than so many forgettable mediocre films.

I saw "Happy go lucky" yesterday. My OH liked it but I just wanted to leave with the other people that left half way through. I like other Mike Leigh films but this was not for me. I found Poppy and her friends very irritating and I cannot imagine how anybody ever would give her a job in an interview (although she was quite good at her work as it happens).

All in all 2/10 for me and 7/10 for my OH.
