i really wanted to see forgetting sarah marshall - i'm going to take my mum this time.
    Happy birthday Beate!!!!! 21 again??

I hope your mum is liberal minded, this film has a lot of sexual content in....Russell Brand shaking his hips in a sexual manner at everything that does and doesn't move, ie. man, woman, chess pieces. there also a lot of talk about sex ie i wanna put my p in your v and full frontal male nudity.

Does anyone know if you have to show the card with the printed ticket ?
and do you present the free ticket in the same way as those from seefilmfirst ?
Any advice gratefully received, as can not find coventry showcase direct number to ask them these q's
Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:
  • Went to see Happy Go Lucky last night. After seeing the trailer OH refused to go (probably a good thing as he would have hated it!) so took a friend instead. We both really enjoyed it, I found it very funny at bits and thought provoking at others. There were some bits that didn't quite seem to fit... don't want to say here in case of spoliers for anyone who hasn't seen it... but overall I thought it was great would give it 9/10. The ladies beside me who talked throughout it wouldn't agree- I heard them say at the end what they thought of it and it wasn't positive!

Saw this last night with a couple of mates. Weird movie, I was wondering how it was going to end because it never quite started  . It was just a few random scenes which were thrown together to stretch it out into a movie. Maybe there was an underlying message but I'm just not sophisticated enough to see it.
Agree there were a few funnies but also a few bits which just didn't make sense & didn't seem to fit.
Not one for the blokes I would say.
 Don't worry... be happy

luckily mum is pretty easy going and she thinks the trailer she saw on telly was funny.

    Hi,

I am going to see this film also but at Showcase in Liverpool. When I have been before you only needed the printed ticket or your membership card so as long as you have printed the tickets from the email you will be fine. HTH x

I tried that but all I got is Flashback of A Fool tomorrow (I am in the reserve list for Persepolis on Thursday though, wish me luck!).
