  • I saw Easy Virtue on Monday night with my mum and we loved it! not our usual type of film but had a great time. I loved Colin Firth, even though his character wasn't anything different from his other roles. Would easily give this feel good film 8/10 and two thumbs up :)

*our screening was full but also only seated 150*

is it only me that found "Condi Rice" really characature-ish and highly annoying.. Thandie Newton could have done better

I saw "W" last Sunday at Shepherd's Bush and I really enjoyed it. However, I hated the portrayal of Condi Rice; I thought it was completely OTT and could barely watch when she was speaking. I thought the film is definitely worth seeing.

Her voice was annoying, but it wasn't a bad performance imo. If Rice was as well known as Bush it'd be easier to see the accuracy of the acting...

ID? Not in Cardiff. I also thought that preview films were not subject to age restrictions (so I heard). Sometime they have previews before classification has been given.

And I saw a free film some time back (cannot remember what it was) and there were kids in there - and it wasn't a kids film..!

There was a family with little kids that came in late to The Rocker which cetainly had jokes and sexual references not suitable for them. I think it was at least a 12 or 15 film. Kids must have been about 4-8 TOPS if that. Obviously underage.

    The Rocker was a 12A ...

... so ANY child of ANY age is allowed in with "accompanying or supervising adult" ..

.. does not even need to a parent or guardian

"Responsibility for allowing under-12s to view lies with the accompanying or supervising adult."

Judging a 12A film's suitability for under 12s passes from the BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) to those taking them to the cinema.

Can't blame the cinema either and any trailers would have been 12A or "under" (eg. PG, U or Uc)
