Does anyone know whether seefilmfirst screenings start at 10:30 on Sunday or is there 30 mins of trailers.
Asking because we have to be somewhere else at 13:00.0 -
I saw Ghost Town in Leicester this morning.
Loved it.
I must say I am not RJ's biggest fan - in fact a lot of what he does leave me without a smile, let alone a laugh.
But this I loved.
solid 8 out of 10 from me.
ds didn't like it as much - he didn't like the "romantic" element to the story. But then he loved Tropic thunder....if that tells you anything.0 -
Saw Ghost Town at Exeter today - thought it was great - much better than expected. Went in expecting a 'light romantic comedy' but it had more levels than that. Was actually more like a Frank Capra movie, like Its a Wonderful Life. There were some great genuine feel-good moments and the acting was awesome all round. Tightly directed and well written. A perfect date movie, well recommended.0

The estimate was conservative it seems Frosty. The poster that sprung to mind was Beattie whose sig file sindicates 63!!!! free previews seen this year or so far etc.
I have only just seen this. First of all, my name is Beate, and yes, I have seen 65 free films this year. I see no reason to apologize for this. I am online a lot and quite active on FMUK. I am there when codes come out, I buy the papers which have the vouchers for certain films, I got some free Cineworld tickets from the monthly Renault competition, I enter a lot of competitions and have won quite a few film premiere tickets etc. that way - and when I am not around there is a network of people who look out for each other on FMUK to make sure people are not left out. Put as much effort in getting tickets as quoia or myself, and you will see many more films than if you just wait for See Film First to email you a code!Reclaimed thanks to this site:

Saw GHOST TOWN (number 85 and counting) this morning at Showcase De Lux Westfield Derby.
As others have said, I'm also not a tremendous fan of RJ but this film wasn't spoiled by his presence or performance. He wasn't over the top, for most of the time I "forgot" it was RJ and I don't think I thought of The Office once.
For the type of film that it is, the storyline was good, the dialogue crisp, sufficient humour and sideline plots.
The auditorium was probably only about 50% full, but that was quite possibly still 200 bums on seats given I think it accomodates about 400.
There were quite a few children - some perhaps only 6 or 7 - all of which appeared to enjoy the film, especially the "toilet humour" aspects in certain parts of it, with quite a few fits of giggles etc.
It is a 12A and there are a couple of "Gordon Ramsay's" that are sort of "appropriate" and I suppose most 6 or 7 year-old's are likely to have heard this at least once. Just be warned.
Overall enjoyable and a solid 7.5 out of 10.
