I've been Money Tipped!
I managed to get tickets yesterday for Burn after Reading from Tellten. The strange thing is the cinema and time are exactly the same as showing as full on Seefirmfirst. They have been showing as all gone on Seefilmfirst for about a week.

I am going to get to the cinema really earlier because I cannot believe there is more than one screen showing this and if it already meant to be full how can Tellten be giving away more tickets?

I suppose Tellten is a proper company? I have never heard of them?
The world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie

Tellten appear to be an exact rip off of SeeFilmFirst, but with less money.
• I received an invite from seefilmfirst to join Tellten and it said that it was a specific Universal Films. The email said ...

We are working on a project for Universal Pictures which involves special previews, working on the same principle as Seefilmfirst, but they are keen to get more feedback from these and to send you additional information.
Having money won't make me happy but it will help me to be miserable in comfort

I understand your concerns but I can tell you, hand on heart, I have NEVER seen a full cinema screening for ANY of these freebies. Worst case scenario is if you get there a little late, you may not be able to sit together but you'll never be turned away. In fact, I get hacked off because I see the screening only half full and think of all the people who could not get tickets, and then when I fail to get tickets I know I could have got in.

If you obtained your tickets via seefilmfirst, you should email them so they can re-allocate your tickets.

Other than doing that, you can use sites like freecycle to give your tickets to someone :)

Sorry if this is a question that has already been answered.... The tickets I have (from tellten) have my name on it. It also says in small writing, "please take proof of identification with you."

I just wanted to know, do they really check for proof of ID when you go to a showing(incase my brother goes in my place)? Or they just say that?

Also, what counts as a proof of ID? Would my credit/debit cards do (as they have my initial and surname on it)? Or does it have to be something like my driving license?

Is it me or seefilmfirst not recognising any of the above Burn codes?!
• Sorry for the chat..
It is because you need to input the code on http://www.tellten.co.uk site
• Never been asked yet.

Sorry to disagree Flikering Ember, but in Cardiff at least the screenings have become quite busy recently.
We were turned away from the Tropic Thunder screening as it was full, others were too. I've been to others recently like Pineapple Express and Get Smart that have also been completely full. Equally, we saw The Rocker this week and the screening was less than half full....I think it depends largely on the hype surrounding the film.

I'm anticipating there to be a high turn out for Burn after Reading and intend to get there early as I REALLY want to see this one :)

Oh, also - TellTen are somekind of offshoot of SeeFilmFirst, the 'help' email address is even help@seefilmfirst.com instead of tellten

I've been asked several times and I think I've used a credit card on every occasion.

I've also seen people turned away where they could not provide something similar with matching name details on.
